Another Graduation Open House for one of my day care kids.
Kyle was just one year old, and the first little boy to come to Auntie's house when I decided to run a day care in my home.
Never did I know how big it would snowball and how many kids who would be in my care over the 15 years that I was in it.  When we arrived we walked down this driveway to the lake behind their house
Who wouldn't like to see this view every morning
The family decorated Kyle's open house with a baseball theme so we got to sign his baseball bat

And then I saw Kyle!  Oh my goodness I didn't ever want to let go of his wonderful hug he had for me. What a great kid! He was easy to care for as a little guy and he is still an amazing young man.
I had the privilege to care for Kyle's nephew, Parker years later.  Parker is like a mini-Kyle
I loved the whole baseball theme

And since dad is a candy-broker they had this great candy-bar for all the guests.
What a great time to connect with my Kyle!  All these graduation open houses have given me a chance to reconnect with my kids and it reaffirmed that running a day care business was the BEST thing I could have done at that stage in my life.

Thanks for walking down memory lane with me!
