Darling Doily

Tuesday, January 20, 2015
I thought is was about time to try playing with my Darling Doily Thinlit.  Especially after I learned this fabulous new, and very helpful tip from several demonstrators out there.  This is what the Darling Doily looks like when I ran it through the Big Shot using Basic Black Card Stock
You know what it is like when you have to poke out all the little pieces from something like this, right? Very frustrating sometimes.  I purchased some unscented fabric softener sheets from the dollar store
using 4 sheets, and folding them in half so I have 8 layers
Once the piece is cut out, place it on the Big Shot and run it through again
All the little pieces come out perfectly
Pretty cool, right?  How pretty!
And look at all the fun pieces that come from it
 I see a fun face
 A bitty flower
 a goofy face
 A happy face
 carrot noses for a snowman
The reason I started this all was actually because I needed a some perfect eyes for my punch art project.  This is the piece that I needed.
Aren't these the perfect eyes for my little alligator? This is one of the punch art cards that we will be making at the Punch Art Class tonight. And this cute alligator was inspired by Alex on Stampin' Connection
Thanks for stopping by!
