Happy Procrastinator

Wednesday, August 19, 2015
Sometimes I am right on the ball, and other times I am a horrible procrastinator.  Today I am a HAPPY PROCRASTINATOR!!  Why???  Totally by random I fell upon a fabulous Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Rachel Tessman and she was showing optional things to do with your PAPER PUMPKIN KIT.  I had my October 2014 kit sitting around planning to use it for craft sales (so I guess I am not such a horrible procrastinator).  I had some ideas that would be perfect for using some of the elements with.  This is what the kit looks like...cute little pie shaped pieces to fill with goodies. This would be great at  your Thanksgiving table to fill with treats and special notes to everyone as to why you are thankful for them.  GREAT IDEA, RIGHT??
The good news it that IF YOU ARE A PAPER PUMPKIN SUBSCRIBER you can purchase (for a limited time) this past kit which includes the ink spot and the stamp set for only $17.00.  Even better you can get a refill kit of just the consumable supplies for only $8.00. (it will  have only 4 pie shaped boxes in the refill kit) Click HERE to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin, and Click HERE to order your past kits.  If you ever have any questions you can contact me HERE
 FABULOUS!!
OK - on to some fun alternate ideas for this kit.
Check out the little piece that looks like the letter H - this is in there as a Pom Pom maker, but look at this cute Thanksgiving card made using this 'letter H' - it's a turkey!!
The bright feathers are punches out and you end up with this
So I  made Gracie some Monster Valentine Cards - and I used past Paper Pumpkin Kit stamps
Instead of pies I made Christmas Trees (inspired by Lisa Reber)and filled them with treats
Here's a simple version.
 One with gold sequin trim
And one with Basic Rhinestones.  Which one do you like better?
Now for a scrapbook page layout
Can you see the sparkling snow
Now I will plug my All Day Scrapbooking class on September 26th.  I have limited space (10) so get your reservation in ASAP.  COST: is $25 which includes lunch, beverage, and all the paper products you will need for lunch and snacking time.  You will have access to all my dies, stamps, inks, ideas, etc. and yardstick can be purchased by the piece on that day.  It is fun to get together with all the ladies who love to scrapbook like you.  You will 'earn' a free raffle ticket for accomplishing certain things throughout the day where you can win a scrapbook layout like this one.  (there will be others to choose from on that day as well).  TIME: 9am to 6pm come crop till you drop!!
One last idea for the Paper Pumpkin - you probably noticed all that yellow yarn in the kit.  What did I do with it?  I made a fun a little monster for Gracie!
Kind matches her Monster Valentines
Thanks for stopping by!
