Seattle Sea Hawks!!

Thursday, December 3, 2015
Our Youth Pastor celebrated his birthday on Sunday and he is a Seattle Sea Hawks fan.  Not just a fan, his father played for the Sea Hawks when Keoni was a growing up.  I thought this card (inspired by Cindi Copeland) would be perfect for him.
This was a quick and easy card and great for a football fan.  Because of the Sea Hawk team colors I needed to dig into some retired Gumball Green Card Stock.  I started with the largest Oval Framelit then "tweeked" it to get the football shape.  Then I threaded White Bakers Twine though for the stitching.  Attach it to the layer using the Brick Wall Embossing Folder. The HAPPY BIRTHDAY greeting is from FROM THE HERD (retired)
Here is a handy tip for threading through small holes: (I pierced the holes with the Paper Piercer) then used a threader that is found in the dental care aisle which is intended for threading floss for a dental bridge. These are super flexible and work perfectly for situations like this or when threading buttons, etc.
Sorry for the blurry image
Thanks for stopping by!
