Beautiful Roses

Wednesday, June 8, 2016
Wherever we live it seems we always want to have a rose garden.  I believe this stems from Dad Waite loving roses and having a beautiful garden all of Dale's growing up years.  These are our roses this spring...

Thankfully we get to dig them up and take them with us to our new address!
Last night at our team meeting we made these beautiful roses for a card front using the ROSE GARDEN Stamp Set.
This first one I stamped on a printed Vellum card stock (from the FREE pack we got during Sale a bration)
Colors on the leaves: Wild Wasabi, Always Artichoke and Mossy Meadow.
Colors on the Rose: Real Red and Cherry Cobbler
And every special sized card needs a special sized envelope.  So thankful for the Envelope Punch Board and some Designer Paper!
Dawn chose to make her rose from some retired colors (because those are the colors she had) Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose.  I still love those colors!!
I had several card fronts started to show my team the step by step process so I ended up with a nice stash of cards to sell at the store.  The gals encouraged me to try some different colors.  My favorite rose has always been the yellow rose.  (Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry)
I love the color scheme of this one!  I used the newest color - Peek-a-boo Peach and Calypso Coral.
This final one is Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant.
I put some "dew drops" on the roses using the fine tip glue pen and let them set over night to dry.
These will be a great addition to the store or even here at home.
Thanks for Stopping by!
