Telescoping Technique

Monday, June 13, 2016
Another shipment of cards are heading up to the store in Manistee.  Thank you to my fellow Red Hot Stamper, Sara H, who shared this card.
This technique is called a TELESCOPING CARD and I was thrilled to see that Stampin' Up! has come out with narrow Foam Adhesive Strips and they work perfectly for this technique.
One thing I learned while putting these cards together - the Foam Adhesive Strips are thicker than our standard Dimensionals, but they are perfect for the narrow edges that you need from time to time.
Here are the supplies used for this card: You will notice that I used the (retired) Squares Framelits Collection, but if you do not own these yet there are NEW Squares Framelits!!  So excited!! I added them to the list below so you can check them out.  Each size square has a scallop square that will layer behind it.  I LOVE them!!  Not only is there Layering Squares - there are Layering Circles, Layering Ovals and Sweet and Sassy Hearts!!  You will fall in love!!

Thanks for stopping by!

This card looks familiar! I just pulled mine out today to send to my brother-in-law. :) Hope things are going great at the store in Manistee! What's the name of the store? We're hoping to go up to that area this month for the weekend.
