Container Madness!!

The Challenge that I gave to my team members last month was Craft Sale related.  I gave each one of them an empty container from the (off brand) Crystal Light drinks and told them to decorate it to market it at a craft sale.  They had to fill it and price it.
I showed them this one that I had made and Gracie gave one to her teacher on the first day of school
As my friend, Rachel, would say - this is a TRASH of TREASURE.  Do you throw away the empty containers or do you repurpose them??  Inside this one is a sleeve of 6 Lindor Truffles.  The leaves are from the BOTANICAL BUILDER FRAMELITS
Here is what the girls came up with and I love ALL of them!! I think they did a fabulous job!!
Carla decorated her container with a Baby theme using the COOKIE CUTTER CHRISTMAS BUNDLE.  Carla is going to be a grandma again so she filled this with candy treats for her daughter to pass out when she got visitors at the hospital!  Clever idea!!
Donne went the elegant route. Because it was a craft sale item I did not limit them to using only Stampin' Up! products, so Donne chose this elegant die and cut it from gold foil and backed it with black.  Donne filled her container with a sleeve of gold wrapped Hershey Nuggets.
Inez chose a fall theme for her container and used the VINTAGE LEAVES stamp set and Framelits. Her Designer Paper is from the REGALS PAPER STACK (she used Rich Razzleberry! a perfect color for the fall leaves.  Inez filled her container with a yummy homemade mix of candies and crackers.
Paula went with a snowman Theme for her container.  She used the SNOW PLACE stamp set and Framelits and filled it with a sleeve that held 3 K-Cups of hot chocolate.
Sue went with a beautiful Christmas theme for her container.  The band of Designer Paper is from WARMTH AND CHEER and backed with Real Red Card Stock.  She used the very cool pines from the PRETTY PINES THINLITS DIES using several different shades of our green card stock, and the cute bells from the CHRISTMAS MAGIC Stamp Set, stamped with Stazon Black Ink onto GOLD FOIL and hand cut out.
The Santa was a last minute idea on my part because I found him in my stash from last year and felt he needed a home. He is on a clear Crystal Light container and would be darling filled with the red and white peppermint puff candies. (I didn't have any in the house or I would have filled it)
These last two are ones I made, feeling guilty that I didn't make up a second idea.  Especially when I asked my team to make theirs.  My friend Donne had these cute little leaf treats at our dinner plates in September
and I thought they were so cute that I made some up for the craft sales.  The leaves I purchased were on a garland strand and they also had the large pinecone and pumpkin on that strand so I decided to not let them go to waste.  All I did was add a little bow using the LINEN THREAD and some EMERALD ENVY BAKERS TWINE  The leaves on the front are from watercolor paper that I colored in Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Pear Pizzazz and Watermelon Wonder.  A splash of Gold Wink Of Stella gives it a shimmery look.  Then I cut them out using the VINTAGE LEAVES FRAMELITS.  I punched out Soft Suede Acorns using the ACORN PUNCH, them with a retired embossing folder. and gave them a GOLD GLIMMER topper.  I cut the 5/8" BURLAP RIBBON in half for a narrower look and it also gives it a more rustic feel with the frayed edges.  I filled my containers with mini Tootsie Rolls and I am planning to pass them out to our neighbors at Halloween.
What will you do with your empty containers??
Thanks for stopping by!
