Woodland Faux Illusion

Monday, October 10, 2016
Tomorrow night is our team meeting.  Last month Sue did a wonderful demonstration and I wasn't able to share mine until now because I let one of my team members take them home so she could work on some projects of her own.  Now that I have them back I needed to make my card fronts into full cards.
Sue brought a variety of stamps that she thought would be great for this technique.  This one is from the stamp set EVERGREEN (retired).  I used TEENY TINY WISHES and FLURRY OF WISHES for my Christmas Greetings, and teamed it up with the new DUET BANNER PUNCH.  I was able to give it a border simply by punching out extra banners and placing them behind, then I just trimmed off any little portions that stuck out where I didn't want them.
This one is from the stamp set COUNTRY LIVIN'
On all of these we used the WOODLAND EMBOSSING FOLDER
This technique is called Woodland Faux Illusion.  You can find a tutorial on Youtube HERE
I also gave the girls a craft sale challenge, so stay tuned to see what they did with it.
Thanks for stopping by!
