Paper Pumpkin Special

I have not promoted Paper Pumpkin too terribly much.
Why? oh, maybe because I'm lazy or because I haven't had a ton of success in getting you all to subscribe, but the few ladies that have subscribed, REALLY enjoy getting their special surprise in the mail every month.
Let me share with you the March Paper Pumpkin Kit
Aren't these little bunny treats and 3x3 cards adorable??
One fun thing to do with your Paper Pumpkin Kit to make up alternate ideas using the same elements that come in the kit, and maybe some extra product you have on hand as well.
This is what I came up with for the Bunny Buddies March Kit:
The 3x3 card is made as instructed, but I took another one of the 3x3 cards and made this cute little bunny box. The card measures 3x6 and I scored it at 1 3/8", 2 3/4", 4 1/8", 5 1/2". Then I rotated it 90ยบ  and scored at 1". You have to ignore the score line at the 3" when you fold on all your score lines. Just assemble by adding Fast Fuse (for a nice tight hold) on the 1/2" scored line and on one of the bottom flaps.  I pinched in the sides, added a Hershey Kiss to the inside and added a MINI PAPER CLIP to hold it shut. (the mini clothespins in the kit are not strong enough to hold it shut)
I stamped the cute bunny face prior to assembly, then stamped the bunny ears on some scrap VERY VANILLA Card Stock, cut them out and added the sticker insides, and then I attached them with glue dots to the back of the box.
Here is a visual...

This second one is fun and it is also made using one of the 3x3 cards in the kit.  For this one you make a small mark on the 3" side at 1 1/2".  Do the same on both sides.  Now using your PAPER TRIMMER and the SCORING BLADE  line up the small mark in the area where you would cut or score your cardstock and also put your 3" score line in that same line so that you will be making a diagonal score.  SCORE - do not cut!  You will do this 4 times to create this...

For this bunny treat I used the bunny face stamp and some retired punches to make my bunnies.
(WIDE OVAL, SMALL OVAL, 1 3/4" x 7/8" OVAL. and 1 3/8" x 5/8" OVAL).  The tiny heart from the COOKIE CUTTER BUILDER PUNCH is perfect to layer over the nose.  In the first 2 projects you can see I left them as-is.  I stamped the Easter Eggs and hand cute them out, popped them up on dimensional pieces to hold the easel bunny.
The box I used is a retired box die called MATCHBOX DIE, but boxes are so super easy to make if you don't have the die you can make a box like this:
Base: 4 3/4" x 5 1/4"
Score on all sides at 5/8" and 1 3/8" then cut away the sections shown and create your tabs.
Top: (wraps around base)
2 1/2" x 6 1/2"
Scored at 3/4", 2 7/8", 3 5/8" and 5 3/4"
Adhere the box together to create a base section and wrap around. See below...
I always hold a Paper Pumpkin Night on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm where you can work on your current Paper Pumpkin or a past one.  It is fun to bounce ideas off one another and the class time is FREE as my thank you for being a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber.
It is Paper Pumpkin's 4th birthday in April so we have been getting a tease from the home office.
This kit was designed by Sara Douglas  - the CEO of Stampin' Up! We are told that it was designed with a little bit of "SASS"!  I, personally cannot wait to see what it is.  We are also told that she is including a FREE GIFT in every box!!  Last year it was an extra stamp set, what will it be this year?
If you don't want to miss out on this next kit, you need to subscribe by April 10th.  Click HERE to subscribe. An added bonus is if you sign up before March 31st and subscribe to a 3 month package for only $55.00 you will get a FREE Sale a bration gift as well.
I would say that this is a WIN-WIN situation.  If you find that Paper Pumpkin is not for you, you can easily unsubscribe or suspend your subscription.
