Beautiful Butterfly

Going clockwise with these pieces:
What I love about this card is the Die Cut Butterfly from the Butterfly Thinlits Dies in vellum overtop the stamped butterfly. So many great textures/elements on this card that was inspired by Karollina Michna on the Demonstrator Planning Place FB page.
I started out by spritzing my Basic Black card base with a mixture of Rubbing alcohol and Champagne Shimmer Mist (retired) but you could also use some Wink of Stella with Rubbing Alcohol for basically the same effect.
Second, I Heat embossed the greeting using VERSAMARK ink and WHISPER WHITE EMBOSSING POWDER after I swiped the base with an EMBOSSING BUDDY
Then I attached some SILVER MINI SEQUIN TRIM to the back side of my butterfly before adhering it to my card. I did cheat a bit and I used a super sticky glue strip to hold this onto my card. It works like glue dots, but it is approximately 1" long by 3/16". I found this product at our local Craft Store.  The VELLUM Butterfly is attached with MINI GLUE DOTS and the RHINESTONES BASIC JEWELS hide the glue dots and give it some more glam!!
The butterfly stamp is from the BEAUTIFUL DAY Stamp Set. I heat embossed it with BLACK EMBOSSING POWDER onto SHIMMERY WHITE Card Stock and Watercolored in with my AQUA PAINTER.
