This card was created using the Dragonfly and Bumblebee Dies but instead of cutting I did a dry emboss technique.  Here is the "sandwich" to Dry Emboss with your Dies.
Magnetic Platform
Thin Die Adaptor that comes with the new Big Shot Platform
Silicone Craft Sheet
Card Stock
Die (make sure your cutting side is UP - otherwise it will cut your paper
Clear Cutting Pad
I first saw a video on this by Lisa Curcio, but when I went to Youtube.com you can see other versions.  The one by Lisa was the easiest one for me.  In fact I was inspired to make this card after watching her video and then sent her a photo.  When she replied (thanks Lisa!!) she said "Stunning!" I was thrilled.
I chose to use Rich Razzleberry and Blushing Bride Card Stocks and the BLOOMS & BLISS Designer Paper
Today I get to start putting minimal weight on my foot as long as I have my "boot" on and use crutches.  I must say that I am not that good on crutches, and sure have appreciated my knee walker these first 5 weeks, but I am also thankful that I can keep improving.
Thanks so much for your business! I appreciate you all!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Don't miss out on this great once a year deal!
This card was made with out grand daughter, Gracie, in mind.  She is at the age where she likes to shop and PINK is her color!! I spent a ton of time preparing card kits for myself using up the retired Designer Papers that I had on hand so that I would have something to do and work on while I am confined to the upstairs away from my craft room.  I have to supply the store with cards and it keeps me very busy.  I am thankful for all the people who buy my cards and am happy to promote Stampin' Up! on my signature on the back.  It has been 5 weeks since my surgery and I have completed all of my projects that I preplanned.  I am able to get downstairs on occasion for short times to create but now I will need to put together more kits to work on for when the second surgery takes place in May.
Thanks for stopping by!

Here are my top picks for this past week.  I hope they inspire you.
This darling card was made by Debbie Henderson!  You can check out her blog HERE and she even gives you the dimensions on how to create this card fold for yourself.  She is using the COOL TREATS Stamp Set and framelits.  Buy them as a bundle and save 10%
I just cannot seem to get enough of this cute chick from the HEY CHICK stamp set (FREE with a qualifying purchase) This card by Nikki Spencer just makes me smile
LIFT ME UP! a fun stamp set with hot air balloons - this one is by Becky Roberts
How cute is this with all the baking stuff .  Stamp Set is called PERFECT MIX - this one was created by Debbie Henderson
I love how inventive people get.  These cards were made with the circle piece that was the inside of the monsters belly in the fun stamp set YUMMY IN MY YUMMY.  I was thinking of bubblegum or bubbles for a bath time scrapbook page.  Use your imagination.  This was found on a demonstrator FB site by Lavinia Gruizinga
Another cute card made using the PERFECT MIX stamp set by Diana Gibbs
I love the DRAGONFLY DREAMS Stamp Set, but don't forget about this cute bumblebee, and this 6x6  box is adorable by Lauren Huntley
Of all the critters you can make with the FOX BUILDER PUNCH, I like the little skunk the best! Dawn Griffith made these cute bags featuring the FOX BUILDER PUNCH and I am itching to have a chance to make some up.
France Martin.  France and I are in the same CREATIVE STAMPERS group! I love how she used the GORGEOUS GRUNGE Stamp Set to make it look like it is raining.
This last card features some retired Designer Paper and ribbon but I still love how it features the NEW MAKE A MEDALLION stamp set and the Glimmer Paper that you can get for FREE with a qualifying $50 purchase during Sale a bration. This card was found on Pinterest. Check out all the links at the beginning of my blog post to place your order.

Add one Alligator

Sunday, February 26, 2017
Today is Caden's 3rd birthday, so once again I am building on the cards that I made for him for his first and second birthdays.  Here is a recap..

Now for Caden's third birthday I added a little alligator.  He's not too scary - he has a little heart on him.

Here are the supplies I used on these cards.

Paper Pumpkin Night

Saturday, February 25, 2017
Last Thursday night was Paper Pumpkin Fun Night.
We hashed around what we wanted to make with our kits by checking out the  Paper Pumpkin Fan Club on Facebook. What a great resource!! You do NOT need to be a demonstrator to be connected to this great resource!!
We decided we really liked the ideas from Mindy Webster who added the Sunshine Wishes Die Cut outs to her cards and we loved the bags from Brooke Berger.
Of course we added our own twist to everything, but it sure was a good starting point.
Patty made 3 boxes and 3 cards
I decided to make the chunkier style boxes and along with the three boxes and three cards I also made three gift card holders.
The "So Very" is a stamp from the Sale a bration FREEBEE called So Very Much!
The "FOR YOU" is from the July 2014 Paper Pumpkin,
and the flourish is from the August 2015 Paper Pumpkin
This box is shorter - more like a basket.  Each one is holding 2 Caramel Cadbury Eggs (YUM!)
I thought this trio will make a great Bridal Shower gift, and I still have leftovers to make 6 more gift card holders and the flames - hoping to use them later on a scrapbook page.
Did you know that during Sale a bration you can get a discounted price on a three month subscription to Paper Pumpkin AND get a FREE item from the Sale a bration brochure??
Here is the video from Stampin' Up! to see what the intended projects were.  Remember if you are receiving this blog post in your in box just click on the Header for this post and it will direct you to my blog and you can view the video there,

AND...because February is my anniversary month here is what I will be doing throughout the month of February as a thank you to all of you who have chosen to make me their demonstrator.

Beautiful You Double Z Fold

Thursday, February 23, 2017
BEAUTIFUL YOU is one of the fun new stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog.
And I love this fun Double Z Fold - scroll to the bottom of this post to find the dimensions of the card stock pieces you will need to recreate this card for yourself.
The Daisies are from GRATEFUL BUNCH
I chose to feature the newest In-Colors that will stay current until May 31, 2018
Dapper Denim - I think this color is my favorite of the five
But wait - Flirty Flamingo looks so cute in this too
Peek-a-boo Peach
Emerald Envy
Sweet Sugarplum - another of my favorites - oh, don't let me fool you, I like them all!!
Here is what you will need to recreate this card for yourself:
Cut a sheet of Whisper White in half lengthwise (4 1/2" x 11") and score along the long side at 3 1/4" and 5 1/2"
Cut a second piece of card 9 1/4" x 3 1/4" and score on the long side at 5" and 6 3/4"
Cut two mats of DSP 4" x 3" and 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut two mats in a contrast card 3"x 4 3/4" and 3" x 2 1/4"
Cut two Whisper White mats 2 3/4" x 4 1/2" and 2 3/4" x 2"
I cased this card from one of the facebook groups I am in but I haven't been able to track it back down to give credit where credit is due.
Here is what I will be doing throughout the month of February as a thank you to all of you who have chosen to make me their demonstrator.

Easy Creative Fold Card

Wednesday, February 22, 2017
I am not sure what this fold is called but it looks like it could easily be called a shirt fold because if you would turn the card horizontally it could be a man's shirt or a woman's blouse, etc.
Super, super simple: Cut your card base at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
Cut your designer paper at 4" x 5 1/4"
At the half way mark on the 5 1/4" side (2 5/8") you will snip up.  I use my Stampin' Up! Paper Snips and snip up one full length of the scissors.
Fold on the diagonal from the corner of your Designer Paper to where you snipped, use your Bone Folder to burnish the fold
See! it's as simple as that, and depending on the Designer Paper you choose you pick out a Greeting to coordinate.  I used BIRTHDAY BLOOMS.
I stamped on Whisper White or Very Vanilla depending on the Designer Paper, then double mounted it with coordinating card stock.
The Sentiment is then popped up with Dimensionals!  Easy Peasy!!
I was in a quest to use up my retired Designer Paper and this is a perfect example of what you can do. You will need to make sure you like the double side, but with Stampin' Up!'s fabulous double sided Designer Paper you can hardly go wrong
Go ahead - give it a try!
