Valentines for the kids

These are the Valentines that I made for our kids and grandkids this year...

for Julie (inspired by Sandi)

for Tyler

and Gracie (inspired by Jan)

for Jeff & Jessica

for Sawyer (inspired by Tara)

and Lily

for Joey & Melissa

Then of course I had to make treats for the kids!!

for Tyler (he loves Jolly Ranchers).
Tyler and Gracie's treat toppers were found on Pinterest

for Gracie (she loves ANY candy!!)

for Sawyer

and then I couldn't resist another fun treat for Sawyer -

I thought it matched his back hoe card

This cute tag was attached to a sand shovel that was in

a cello bag filled with yummy purple grapes.

I forgot to take a photo, but here is a sample of one I made in the past

Hope you all have a SWEET Valentines Day tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by!

Sentimental Sunday

Last week our son Joey and DIL Melissa came over for dinner and some crafting time.  A co-worker of hers recently suffered a loss and the crew was collecting money to help them out.  I love it that they are compassionate people.  Someone suggested that they get a card for everyone to sign, but Melissa said they should make a really BIG one because there will be a LOT of signatures.  They knew right where to come!
They bought a poster board and trimmed it down just a bit then we went to town sponging and creating a scene.

Melissa drew the lighthouse and then used my way-back-retired watercolor crayons.  The sky consists of 3 shades of blue...Soft Sky, Pool Party and Island Indigo with some So Saffron by the sun. The dunes were created using Sahara Sand and Crumb Cake.  The grasses are from the retired stamp set INSPIRED BY NATURE in So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, and Crumb Cake.  The alphabet stamp set she chose is SOPHISTICATED SERIFS (retired)
I think she did an Awesome job!!
Thanks for stopping by!
