Featured Stamper Inez O.

Friday, February 19, 2016
My featured stamper for today is Inez O.   Inez is in my second level and doing a bang-up job at her classes.  She offered to do a demonstration at our last team meeting.  Everyone got to  make one of these large Cracker Boxes, and I got to keep this one as a Valentine treat!
She also shared with us the punch art projects that she made for her grandchildren's Valentines Cards
Cute little Yoda wasn't on a card yet, but isn't he cute!!
I love the googly eyes on these next two cards - so cute!  I'm sure her grandchildren loved them!
Thanks for stopping by!

Joyous Celebrations and a Fun Find

Monday, October 22, 2012
I thought this was a pretty card by Becky Roberts and wanted to CASE it,
but I did not purchase the stamp set
Joyous Celebration #128066 wood mount $22.95 or #128069 $15.95.
What to do?  Head on over to My Digital Studio of course!!
Thanks to my hubby who cranked out the Champagne Glimmer Paper because my
shoulder is bugging me!! He sure is a Jack of all Trades!!
Now on to my Fun Find...
When he cranked out the snowflake
(using the NEW Snowflake die called SNOWFLURRY #127813 $21.95)

the Champagne Glimmer Paper (#127885 $4.95 for 2- 12x12 sheets)
was over a portion of one of the other snowflakes
and this is what came out...
I thought it looked like a little crown.
Who wears a tiny little crown like this??

my cute little frog prince does!!
Here is the card I made for him to go on.

Thanks For Stopping By!

Have a Blessed Day!!

June Cakes

Friday, July 1, 2011
Not only did we have a busy month with packing up 11 years of living in the big house
and moving to the condo, and now working at remodeling,
I also had five cakes to make during June.
It's amazing how it all worked out and the scheduling of them fit right in the cracks of time I had.

CAKE # 1

This baseball cake was for Nathan, a boy at our church.
Sure does look like he had a fun birthday party.

CAKE #2

This cute little frog was for 2 year old Peter from our church.

CAKE #3

For a guy at our church who is a big University of Michigan fan
Jeff loves sports of all kinds but is especially fond of football

Check out the solid chocolate footballs that I molded for each side and the top.

CAKE # 4 and #5

Parent/Child Dedication cakes for church.
Dale and I are the host and hostess for the reception following the Parent/Child Dedication service. This time there was 11 children from 8 different families and 76 guests at the reception.

Thanks for checking out my cake blog!

Have a Sweet Day!!

Kiss a Frog

Tuesday, May 18, 2010

One of the young gals from church who is in college right now recently had to have her 4 wisdom teeth pulled. Her comment on facebook, besides “ouch!” was “I can’t feel my lips!” so I just HAD to buzz off this fun card to her. I added the big fat lips to the frog to get my point across. Hope you are feeling better Val.

froggy this card was made using our heart shaped treat cups and this card is holding green M&M’s to match the frog.

SS: Inspired By Nature, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Woodgrain Background
CS: More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, WW, Green Galore, Garden Green, Lovely Lilac (butterflies), Basic Black (eyes)
INK:Chocolate Chip, Real Red (lips)
Accessories: Heart Treat Cups, Silver Brads, Punches: Wide Oval, Large Oval, Small Oval, Boho Blossom,1/2” and 1/4” circles, Word Window, White Gel Pen. I also used the Cutter Kit #106958 $16.95 perforating tool so Val can get her candy out through the back without wrecking her card. The stump was free handed.
It is hard to see, but I sponged all the edges of the frog except for the eyes.

So For Now…

Happy Stamping!!
