COME STAMP WITH ME TUESDAY'S CARDS

Thanksgiving is over and I am back on track with the COME STAMP WITH ME TUESDAY CLASS! Please notice the time change for tomorrow - I will be open from 10 am to 5 pm.   Remember this is open house style so come when you can and leave when you must.  Cost: only $1.50 per card you choose to make.  Want to see what cards I will have out for you to make?

I have had so many requests for music related cards so tomorrow you will get your chance to make the beautiful piano card.  I made the sample a Thank You card but you may choose whatever you would like or leave it blank - it is all up to you.  (inspired by Brunie Q)

Want to play with owls?  The fun Dr. and Nurse card will be a big hit to send out for a Get Well Card.

The 2 Christmas Cards are from the stamp set called BEST OF SNOW.  Don't you just love the darling little hedgehogs??!!  (inspired by Jen Timko and Sandi MacIver)

Who's There? The A Team - Alex and Asa.
At our Talent Night this year we had two darling little boys telling jokes.  Surprisingly I had never heard any of them and they did such a good job.  They had the entire audience laughing.  So for their thank you notes I thought it would be appropriate to have a joke on their cards.  Using the Peek-a-boo Big Shot Die I came up with these two cards.

 I googled "kid jokes" and found a TON of fun ones but I wanted to coordinate the jokes with stamp sets that I already owned.

Play day!

Today's Play Day is being held at Rachel's house where she is having a 

garage sale and she is also letting me put out my retired stamps. I'm hoping 

to sell them to make room for MANY more NEW ones!!

So I thought I would show you the card Rachel sent us for our anniversary.

Rachel was playing with some of my new stamps at last weeks Play

Day and she stamped this beautiful frame from the PAPAYA COLLAGE

stamp set in Versa Mark and embossed it with gold.

She took it home to "play with" and then it showed up in our mailbox

this week!! What a sweetie!  She printed off the photo from this blog and 

placed it in the frame.

It's Beautiful Rachel! We LOVE it!!

Happy Anniversary Sweetheart

Today is Dale's and My 35th Wedding Anniversary!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, SWEETHEART!!

Since it is Sunday and my day to join in on the Red Hot Stampers Sketch Challenge I thought it was a perfect time to design my challenge card into an anniversary card.

HMMMM...

I could not for the life of me come up with a good anniversary card 

so I made a wedding card instead.

 

The yellow roses from the new stamp set Papaya Collage represent that 

the main color of our wedding was Yellow!

The Wisteria Wonder (light purple) represents the touch of lavender 

that the florist put in my bridal bouquet.  

The Basic Rhinestones represent the diamond that Dale placed on my finger that day.

AAWWW!!!  Sweet - I know!!

but after 35 years with the same man!!!  

It had better be sweet!!

This is the sketch we had to work with...
