Charlotte & Wilbur

More fussy cut cards What will I use today?

I was so anxious to make this Charlotte's Web card. I simply love that sweet movie!

The WOOD TEXTURES Designer Series Paper Stack is perfect for Charlotte's barn.

This card was inspired by Tammy Waganfeald Bristol on the Demonstrator Planning Place, and I pretty much CASED it completely.  What I did change up was the spider. I pulled out an old Halloween Stamp Set and stamped Charlotte instead of making her with punches.

Of course, Wilber the pig is pretty darn cute too!!

Stamps: THIS LITTLE PIGGY, BEST BIRDS, OH SO ECLECTIC

The grassy area was watercolored with Lemon Lime Twist.

Bridal Shower Gift Card

Another one of my day care kids is getting married!! I was not able to attend her bridal shower because it was the same weekend that I was at the ONSTAGE LOCAL event for Stampin' Up! in Toronto.

I'm not sure how old Kyra was in these photos, but isn't she beautiful!!  I made so many photo albums of the kids and now am gifting them away to them on special occasions.  This photo is taken from one of those albums.

This is a 5x7 note that I made to go in with her gift.  I used TIMELESS TEXTURES and BEST BIRDS stamp sets.

Along with her gift I wanted to add a gift card so this is the card that I made.  I used GRATEFUL BUNCH, FALLING FOR YOU, and DELICATE DETAILS Stamp sets.

This is how it looks on the inside.
I am looking forward to her wedding reception on Saturday.  She will make a beautiful Bride!! How do I know that??
One Halloween she came dressed as a bride. Precious, precious memories!!

I love them all so very much and am thankful to still be a part of their lives.

May 31st is the final day to place an order from the RETIRING LIST list.  Please remember that everything is WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.

Sentimental Sunday

What a emotional day!  One of the sweet little girls that I used to care for when I was doing child care, is getting married.
Kyra was almost one year old when she came to Aunties and what a joy she was and still is.  I've said it before and I will say it again - Doing Child Care was the BEST job that I ever had!

This picture was taken from one of my photo albums that I made of all the kids that I cared for.

Today is the bridal shower for Kyra.  She was a darling little girl and now she is a beautiful young woman ready to marry the man of her dreams.

This is the gift card that I made for her.

I put this inside along with her gift.  Then I made this 5x7 note card as well to write a note to her

Cards from Friends

Another thoughtful card from Becky!  What an amazing story we have of a 48 year friendship that has always been long distance.  We became Pen Pals when I was only 12 years old (she was 11)!  Our children are about the same ages and now we both have grandchildren approximately the same ages.
Becky is an amazing crafter - with MANY talents.  Most of the cards she sends me are hand made, but this weeks card she sent is a store bought - yet beautiful, card.

It's so funny that when I see store bought cards I start thinking how I could recreate it.  I love all the flourishes in the background.

So here is my take on this design:

INSIDE:

STAMPS: Best Birds, Timeless Textures, Watercolor Wishes, Gorgeous Grunge

CARD STOCK: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Flirty Flamingo, Watercolor Paper

INK: Crumb Cake, Mint Macron, Soft Suede, Flirty Flamingo

FUN STUFF: Birds & Blooms Thinlits, Tags & Labels Framelits, Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Blender Pen, Linen Thread, Dimensionals

Remember you can shop with me 24/7! Just click on any of the images above to go directly to my on line store.

Now to share a card I made yesterday using a few of the In-Colors to spark your creativity.

I used the In-Colors: Tip Top Taupe, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macron and Flirty Flamingo
I also used the envelope paper to make a coordinating envelope using the ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD.  Had to use last years design because I haven't purchased the new yet. So glad I can now get it for 25% off!!

The stamp sets that I used are:

Best Birds

You've Got This

I stamped the birds and the branch onto Watercolor Paper then used an Aquapainter.  You have to be careful with the Delightful Dijon because it is a pretty dark yellow, but I love how it turned out.

In fact, the ladies might see this card on a COME STAMP WITH ME TUESDAY class

Guest Stamper, Donne

Scroll all the way through to the bottom and enjoy all these great cards, and at the end you will find another contest drawing.  You won't want to miss it!!
My guest stamper for today is my dear friend, Donne.  Donne is actually not in my downline but instead she is in my SIDE line.  This means we signed up to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator under the same person.  Since our direct upline has retired I invited Donne to come to the C3 (Christi's Creative Crew) Team meeting so she can help me when I need to bounce ideas off from her.  Donne is famous for lots and lots of great shares.  She is a fabulous demonstrator and we can all glean great ideas from her.
These are the cards that she shared...

Thoughtful Branches was her focus.  Here she used it to make a Christmas Card

I'm really loving this one, and she even brought me some Designer Paper FROM THE PLAYFUL PALETTE 6x6 paper stack.  so I can make some for the store!!  WOOT!! WOOT!!

Another Christmas Card from THOUGHTFUL BRANCHES.  She combined it with the SOFTLY FALLING Embossing Folder and the CHRISTMAS GREETING THINLITS DIES.

This could be a Christmas Card as well, but I love how she also used the SWIRLY SCRIBBLES Thinlits for the snow.  I will be casing this one for sure!

She used the beautiful FLORAL BOUTIQUE Designer Paper for this card with the FLORAL PHRASES Stamp Set and the very cool Happy Birthday is a single stamp called STYLIZED BIRTHDAY

Oh. my goodness,  her cards are so cute and I cannot wait to get out my new stash (which arrived yesterday!!) to make this darling bird card. The stamp set is BEST BIRDS and it can be bought in a bundle (saving you 10%) with the Framelits called BIRDS & BLOOMS.

Last, but not least, is this darling card using the flower stamp from the JAR OF LOVE Stamp Set that can also be bundled with the EVERYDAY JARS Framelits.  So simple and cute.

Are you inspired now to make some cards for yourself??  You can do it!! Especially when you have all these fabulous ideas from the past 3 days.

Help me give a shout out to Donne for all these cute cards!
