Hello Ladybug

Today's card was inspired by Mary Brown. But when you add layers and dimensions, I guess I can call it my own.

We will be making this card at an upcoming Tuesday class.

I used the brand new TWIGS & SPRIGS 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER (item #159168) for my 3-3/4" x 5" layer

I had the zig zag pieces laying on my crafting table (from the BASIC BORDERS DIES item #155558) as well as the black and white print stitched circles from two previous projects, and I wanted to clear off my table before I left on vacation. I'm so glad I worked ahead because coming home there is so much to catch up on, of course now I want to play with new products. *sigh*

I used a 1/2" and a 5/8" circle punch(es) for the center of the large daisy.

The iridescent sequins were left over from a Paper Pumpkin Kit from way back (who knows when)

HELLO LADYBUG BUNDLE (item #157699) & BLOSSOMS IN BLOOM stamp sets (retired)

Our other special for the month of June is a BOGO Sale - this one is for all of our kits. Kits are great for the grab and go. Easy to take along with you camping, etc. Perfect to use with the kids and/or grand kids on a rainy day for the summer.  Click HERE to check out all of the kits available

Birthday Blooms

I held my April Card Class last weekend. I wanted to feature products and stamps that are on the LAST CHANCE LIST.

Here are a couple birthday cards that we made

Card #1 we used the Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Crushed Curry, Balmy Blue & Granny Apple Green inks. Inspired by: Jill

Card #2 - totally gorgeous!

The Parisian Embossing Folder used on the Smoky Slate card stock was drawn out by using some white ink on a sponge or a dauber. It just brings out the beautiful embossing so much!

I'm super happy that the Medium Daisy Punch and the Bough Punch is carried over to the new annual catalog but my favorite Ornate Layers Dies are retiring soon.

A Good Man

Today's card is a Case The Caddy card

However it is found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I can't believe it has taken me so long to case this card.

What I changed up: I only put one layer of the white ribbon, and I used what ribbons I had on hand.

I also changed up the sentiment and the die for it.

You can also see a video tutorial on this card by Diana Gibbs if you need extra help, but it is pretty straight forward

Stamp: A Good Man, Blossoms In Bloom

Card Stock: Gray Granite, Old Olive, Basic White, Balmy Blue

Designer Paper: In Good Taste (also for the guys shirt so this is paper piecing)

Stampin' Blends: Old Olive combo, Petal Pink dark, Balmy Blue combo, Night of Navy light, Ivory, Soft Suede light

Dies: Stitched Shapes (retired), Friendly Silhouettes (retired), Layering Circles, Stitched Rectangles

Hats Off To You!

I was in some desperate need on having masculine cards on hand, so HATS OFF to the rescue

I had just a bit of this masculine plaid designer paper left so am putting it to good use

 Inspired by Cindy B

What I changed: I made it a simple card, where Cindy made it a fun fold. I sometimes find that when I send fun fold cards in the mail, the receiver isn't always sure how to set it up. There are also some other subtle changes as well.

I have some good news to share with all of you

These next two cards were shared by Inez.
Card #1 is BLOSSOMS IN BLOOM. I LOVE this set - I use it a ton for the great sentiments plus I think the flowers are so pretty.

True Love

Bet you think that I am doing a post about my sweetheart!! Fooled ya!

This post is about the TRUE LOVE Designer Paper that is soon to retire.

Check out some cute cards that use this great Black and White designer paper

Inspired by Lorri Heiling

Am I fooling you on this last card (inspired by Penne' Richman)? The flowers are fussy cut out from one of the sheets and colored in with Flirty Flamingo light and dark Stampin' Blends & dark Mossy Meadow for the leaves.

The card base is Blushing Bride and embossed with one of my favorite embossing folders: Painted Texture, then Blushing Bride added using the new Stampin' Blending Brushes.

Such an elegant card.

One more card:

This card (inspired by Lesley) uses the True Love Designer Paper for the Black and White back ground as well as the fussy cut flowers that I colored with Highland Heather, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight.

I officially have used ALL of my True Love designer paper up! I can be such a paper hoarder that I wanted to purpose to use it before it retired, but I see that my drawer is now PACKED with the retired or soon to retire paper so that I can make room for all the new amazing papers in the new annual catalog.

Please note that we have a NEW HOSTESS CODE for now through June!

Get Well Soon

I'm using some retired Designer Paper for this get well card that the gals made at the Tuesday, Come Stamp With Me class this week.

So nice to have a chance to use up some of my retired papers. This card is easily duplicated by any current  designer paper or whatever you have on hand.  It's good for us to use up the products that we purchased.

Get Well, Thinking of You, Sympathy - these are all the cards that are the most popular lately. So sad that we are needing to send out these types of cards, but I know that they are so appreciated.

Just for your information:

Stamp Set: Blossoms in Bloom (#152684)

Designer Paper: Pressed Petals (retired)

Swaps!

At out September Team Meeting we did a SWAP

What is a swap - each person who signs up will make a card (all the same) for everyone else on the list who signed up. For example we had 16 (the biggest swap so far!) sign up so everyone needed to make 15 of the same card (unless they wanted to keep one for themselves)

At the end of the night they each went home with a variety of 15 different cards.  Cards that they can use for their classes or for making cards to send.

Normally we do a SWAP when a new catalog is introduced but I failed to orchestrate a new annual catalog SWAP so when the August/December catalog came out we said that they could use something from either one of those catalogs but it needed to be a NEW product and the card had to be 100% Stampin' Up! products.

I was quite impressed with the beautiful cards that everyone made. I will share these cards between three different blog posts.

For this first post I will share the cards that I will call "All Occasion"

FIELD OF FLOWERS is the stamp set that Linda K used, and she also used a reversed masking technique to create the circular area.

WHALE DONE is the stamp set that Inez chose for her card, and the very cool WHALE OF A TIME 6x6 designee paper. Each card took 1- 6x6 piece so there was a nice variety of cards.

BLOSSOMS IN BLOOM is the stamp set that Susan chose. She must have used Stampin' Write Markers to color her stamped image. The Thank You stamp is from the stamp set SO SENTIMENTAL

PAMPERED PETS is the stamp set that Stephanie chose. Each card had a different set of pups on it as she cut the cute pups from the PLAYFUL PETS Designer Paper.

NOTHING'S BETTER THAN is the stamp Set that Jodie chose - make me hungry with all those yummy cookies!

TODAY'S TILES is the stamp set that Rachel chose. She had a cool story to share about why this was a must-have stamp set. I'm quite impressed, this is one stamp so she colored it in with Stampin' Write Markers, and look what great coverage she got!!

Have I got a deal for you!!

Actually Stampin' Up! set up this deal for the month of September (2020) So it starts TODAY!!

MORE GOOD NEWS!!

The New Embossing Tool is Here!

I have had my new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine for 3 weeks now

and I absolutely love it!

This new tool offers multiple die-cutting and embossing options that I know you will love. This Stampin' Up!-exclusive machine offers the highest quality and makes precise cuts and detailed embossed images every time.

You will also love how simple it is to store and how easily portable it is. It will make a great addition to any craft room. One of the best things is that it comes with all the tools needed to get started right away, making it easy for you to have a fantastic die-cutting and embossing experience right from the start.

Here are some simple facts that Stampin' Up tell us about the new machine:

• The firm top handle allows for easy transport and leverage while in use.
• The machine includes a solid, full surface impact foldout platform to support solid and stable performance.
• Its high grip feet minimize sliding on surfaces.
• It has a compact footprint for easy storage and transport.
• Its platform is designed to naturally guide products into the rollers for a smooth user experience.
• The ergonomic handle flows well and balances the perfect amount of rotation and pressure for precise cutting and detailed embossing results.
• You are going to LOVE how smoothly and easily it cuts! AMAZING! And with the new specially designed flatter dies, they cut through like butter!

You may remember that originally, the magnetic plate was not going to be available till later this year. However, it is available TODAY! so you can add it to your Starter Kit!

I know you are probably also waiting on the Mini Cut and Emboss Machine. But that won't be available until later this year.

I will keep you posted on the progress of that tool.

If you do not want to take advantage of this great deal, but still would like to purchase the new cutting machine, here is the list to my quick links to contact me or to shop with me: Just remember if your order goes over $150.00 please do not use the hostess code as you will receive the 10% hostess rewards for yourself.

Now it a great time to grab those embossing folders and dies that you have been wanting but you were just waiting for this new machine to become available
