Stars At Night

I have been working on using up my O HOLY NIGHT Designer Paper.

#1. It is sold out (but you may have been smart enough to have purchased some before it was too late)

#2. I am set on NOT saving my designer paper - my goal is to use it up

#3. The paper is gorgeous and I want to use it for my Tuesday classes

So here we go - I will have a few days in a row using this paper

This particular card was inspired by Linda Dalke. I'm really not into saying "holiday season" so I put a "Merry Christmas" stamp on the inside.

I had to guess at what Linda used because she did not share so this is what I used:

Card Base: Basic White

Layer #1 Brushed Silver (retired)

Layer #2 O Holy Night DSP but I put a 2-1/2" square of vellum behind the star cut out to soften the silver.

The stars were cut from the Adhesive Backed Silver Glimmer Paper (comes in a pack with one sheet Silver and one sheet Gold)

Stamp Set: Stars At Night

Stars At Night

Using the O HOLY NIGHT Designer Paper again today. I'm afraid that this paper sold old super fast with the LAST CHANCE LIST. And now it is in high demand. Makes me wish I had purchased more.

This fun fold is call a FAUX STEP CARD. Much easier than a regular step card (less intricate cutting). It also features the SHINING BRIGHTLY Designer Paper. Once again, you only get so many cuts with the ancient buildings.

Measurements:

Card Base 8 x 5-1/2”

Score at 3″, 6″, and 7″

Step piece: 3 x 6” score at 4-1/4 (I actually made mine 3-1/4” wide to accommodate the holy family

DSP 3x4 (or 2-3/4 x 4)

DSP: 2-3/4 x 5-1/4

DSP strip 7/8” x 5-1/4 and the little piece on the front if needed is 1/2” wide

Basic white (or vanilla depending on the DSP that you are using. 2-3/4” x 5-1/4” - this goes on the back
