Holiday Catalog Team Swaps

Friday, September 7, 2018

Last night at our monthly team meeting we had a Holiday Catalog Swap. It was a small group this time, but we love to be together.

Janell cased her card from the Holiday Catalog - I always emphasize that the catalog is our first, best resource for inspiration and this one is gorgeous!! She used the DASHING DEER stamp set and DETAILED DEER THINLITS DIES. Buy them both as a bundle and save 10%.

Inez made a mask using the BLIZZARD THINLITS DIE. And then she all kinds of fabulous snowflakes left to use on another card. Stamp set: BEAUTIFUL BLIZZARD. Buy them both as a bundle and save 10%.

Chris and Dawn both had the same idea. Chris stamped her images from WINTER WOODS directly onto her card base while Dawn did some sponging. Buy the IN THE WOODS FRAMELITS DIES and the stamp set as a BUNDLE and save 10%. Chris added some SOFTLY FALLING dimension to her snow with the embossing folder and some DAZZLING DIAMONDS on the tree branches.

Dawn chose to create her own snow line with the torn paper technique. Either way, this card is such pretty winter scene!!

LuAnn used the SWIRLS AND CURLS TEXTURED EMBOSSING FOLDER and the MERRY CHRISTMAS THINLITS DIES for her special fold card. Some traditional red and green colors with some added Night of Navy to perk it up.

This is the card I chose to make. I also used the MERRY CHRISTMAS THINLITS DIES along with the MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL stamp set. Buy them as a bundle and save 10%

I cased this card from Kate.

I used some WINK OF STELLA on the words where Kate painted hers with the new CHAMPAGNE MIST SHIMMER PAINT and an AQUAPAINTER

Card stock: FESTIVE FARMHOUSE Designer Paper, CHAMPAGNE FOIL, Very Vanilla

INK; Mossy Meadow

Punch: SPRIG.

I colored the RHINESTONES with a STAMPIN' BLENDS MARKER.

Stampin' Up!'s promotion for September is this wonderful Designer Paper called DASHING ALONG
