Last Chance Products

It's Here!!!!!
You can download the retiring product from the Occasions Catalog HERE
You can download the retiring product from the Annual Catalog HERE

Getting a new catalog is so much fun, but there is always changes that we might not like to see. BUT...consider any retail store from crafting to clothing - nothing stays the same. How crazy would it be if we had to wear poodle skirts and saddle shoes for our entire lifetime!
You will notice some items retiring that might make you sad, but just think about the great new product that will be introduced in the NEW Annual Catalog coming out in June.
Be sure to grab the retiring items before they are gone and you are sorry.
The stamp sets that are retiring are guaranteed through May 25th but the rest is WHILE SUPPLIES LAST
You also may notice that the Bundles are retiring but not all of those stamp sets and dies (just the bundle price) If you want to get in on the 10% discount by purchasing a bundle then head on over to my on line store to place your order. Please use the Hostess Code below when checking out.  However, if your order reaches $150.00 you will be your own hostess and qualify for the Stampin' Rewards.  At this point you can even get the Hostess Stamp Sets with your rewards.
Another thing you will notice is some of the ink retiring.  That is because they did a color revision so if you want to be sure to get the retiring colors NOW is the time to get them. Inks and Paper tend to go quickly.
One of the stamp sets that is retiring is GUY GREETINGS on this card

The sentiment is from TRULY TAiLORED (Occasions Catalog) and it, too, is retiring.  Grab them now!!
This card will be out for you to make if you join us for the COME STAMP WITH ME TUESDAY CLASS today.

Guy Greetings Meets Lovely As A Tree

Another card that they ladies made at the June Stamp a Stack Classes.
This particular card is a movement card and the ladies were glad to learn how simple this technique is.

The car not only moves side to side it actually spins around.  I believe that the technique is called "Spinner Card."
Not a lot of colors used here but it sure makes a great guy card.
Stamps: Guy Greetings, Lovely As a Tree
Card Stock: Crumb Cake
Ink: Early Espresso

Happy Father's Day

It has been so tremendously busy around here lately with the move, classes, weddings, graduations that I do not have a new card to share with you today.  However I will share a card I made a while back for our Malachi Sermon Series at church.  Malachi 1:11a "For from the rising of the sun to its setting My name will be great among the nations."
This is also the card that I saved to give to my dad for Father's Day yesterday

Happy Father's Day to my amazing daddy!  and my favorite veteran!!  I am so thankful for all the life lessons he taught me along the way... to love God with all my heart and to seek Him first. This is the most important lesson of all.

Thankful too, for my wonderful hubby.  Doing life together for 39 years now!  I wouldn't want it any other way

Little Sawyer has a wonderful legacy of faithfulness to follow

Malachi 1:11

Our church has hired a new pastor and we absolutely love him and his family!  He began in September of 2015 and our church body is growing already.  Not just in numbers but in unity! - I just love it!!  He started a sermon series last Sunday on the book of Malachi.  He wanted to have anyone who is of artistic talent (dance, music, readings, skit, art, etc) to study the book prior to his sermon series and then submit some form of art.  This all took place last Friday night.  I absolutely loved the dance number - this gal is so great how she choreographs her pieces.
The verse I chose to high light for my Malachi submission is chapter 1 verse 11a "For from the rising of the sun until the setting of the same, My name will be great among the nations."
I envisioned beautiful sun-scapes on greeting cards.  I googled sunsets, and I checked out other card makers on Pinterest, and cased a few to come up with 7 cards for my display

Then I went one step further and sponged this next piece on a 5x7 so I could frame it.  Our daughter-in-law, Jessica, was so sweet to agree to do the beautiful calligraphy verse on it for me.

This was my display:  all displays will be kept out throughout the 8-9 week sermon series.

Here are the other submissions - I loved them all, and was intrigued by how each artist chose a different section of the book of Malachi that stood out to them.

This first one is hard to see because of the glare on the glass but she took the 2 pictures you see on the right and made a double exposure photo in black and white.  It is very moving.

This second one is a hand crafted wooden bowl - absolutely beautiful!

This one is a favorite - it depicts the hands of a husband and wife

Time to share another card made using the Timeless Elegance Designer Paper.  I truly enjoy this entire stack of paper.  I will remind you of the first card I made using this Designer Paper

The flip side of this paper was used on this card.  I thought that these two were the most plain of the pack so I wanted to be sure to make a point of using them, and this guy card is perfect using the GUY GREETINGS stamp set.
