Christi's Creative Crew: Santa Delivery

Are you a "Black Friday Shopper?"

It's a BIG NO for me!!

My habits after Thanksgiving is to get all of my Christmas cards ready for the mail, and to hand deliver to the church mailboxes.

Next up is to pull out the Christmas tree from the attic and get the lights on it. Do a little decorating around the house, but the ornaments will wait until the grand kids can come to put them on with us.

Each year we buy them a new ornament that goes on our tree. We save them here for each year, and when they grow up and get a place of their own, they will get to take them all with them.

The fun part is watching our older grands - each year the ornaments get higher on the tree, and they like to put them on in order of the year that they got them, and remember what they did that year. This year they will all receive ornaments that we purchased on our trip to St Simons Island.

Check out all of these boxes filled with the Christmas cards that will be mailed out after December 1.

This is the Christmas card that I made for 2 year old Liam using the Santa Designer Paper. I'm not a huge Santa fan, but I thought that he would like it.

This year might look a little different because I am recovering from pneumonia. Sure does put a cramp in your style when you get side-lined.

Today's guest stamper is Jodie

Card #1 Jodie used the Santa Delivery Bundle (item #159590) along with the Trees For Sale Dies that were available during SAB and although SAB is still going on through the end of the month, these dies were so popular that they are sold out. Another great reason to snag up those free items at the beginning of SAB before the favorites are gone.

Sweetest Cherries Stamp Set is what Jodie used on this second card. The bst part of this bundle is that it comes with a punch instead of a die set. Jodie said that she has also made her cherries from Rich Razzleberry card stock for the Black Cherry look.

Jodie is using up some of her retired designer paper on these next two cards. This first card was free designer paper from SAB last time. It was a huge hit with our Daffodil Daydreams Stamp Set and Daffodil Dies. Good news! the Daffodil Dies are FREE right now through the end of August as an add-on SAB product. (free with a minimum $100 purchase) (item #163099)

The pretty peaches paper was a favorite in the 2021-2022 annual catalog.

Jodie also made some yummy treats for everyone at our meeting.

This next card is Jodie's Swap card - she left it uncolored so that we can either color our own or send it to a child who would love to color it in themselves. Clever!

This next card is from Dawn as her Swap card

Dawn used the Christmas Scottie Bundle (item #159744)
