One of the boys that was in my care during my Child Care Business years was Nick. Nick came when he was about 6-7 years old and already in 1st grade so basically he was with me on no-school days and then during the summer. We ended up living right next door to them which was a huge blessing in our lives. Nick, Dan and Little Joe (not so little anymore at 13 years old) will ALWAYS be dear to my heart. Nick recently graduated from nursing school and is ready to take on his full time responsibilities at the hospital. I am so proud of him!! Last week we made this card at the COME STAMP WITH ME TUESDAY CLASS.
I thought with a little revamping I could make one special for Nick!
The "Get Well Soon" I created on WORD and drew the lines in later, but the "C is for CONGRATS" is from OCCASIONAL ALPHABETS. And of course, my beloved little owl punch always comes in handy.

Playing with the Red Hot Stampers again today!
This is the sketch we had to work with...
Do you remember this cute e-card my sweet hubby sent me using the Simply Sent App for his iphone? Click HERE to see that post. I had printed it out and it has been sitting on my work table all this time. Guess it gave me inspiration for each day. When this sketch challenge came up I thought it would be perfect to recycle it.
Click HERE to see what the other Red Hot Stampers came up with for this challenge.
BLOG
CANDY! Everyone who participates with us in the sketch challenges for January
will be entered into a drawing. On February 1st the winner of the January Blog

Baby Girl Step Card
Monday, October 1, 2012
Our church holds a baby shower for all first born babies and I love to make up a special card for the occasion. Although this card was sent out to our missionaries who had their first baby in August. This card was CASED from Jackie Topa.
These Side Step cards are not hard, just a little detailed and they definitely have the WOW factor.
Are you wondering how the Craft Sale went on Saturday? Well, thanks for asking!! It was the first time for this school to hold a craft sale and I think they did an amazing job. Many of the families in our church attend that school, and some teach there. Since it was held in my home town my booth was visited by many friends and acquaintances.
I loved seeing everyone.
I loved seeing everyone.
The sales were approximately to the mid range of what I prefer,
but it definitely was worth it.
but it definitely was worth it.
This was Carla's first time to be at a craft sale and she did not have a ton of stuff to bring,
but what she brought sold very well. The funniest thing we had happen was this cute little girl with a pink hat came shopping with her Grandma who also had a booth nearby. Every half hour or so she would skip over with a bit of money and buy something. We'd watch her skip back to Grandma's booth to show her what new treasure she found.
I have a few weeks to recover before the next sale, I was pretty tuckered out on Sunday

My gal pals came for a "play day" a few weeks ago and what better thing
to play with but ink and stamps. They helped me put together a bunch
of these cute baby girl cards so I could build up my baby girls card
stash for the craft sales.
This is one more reason I LOVE being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator -
This idea came directly from headquarters!
I love it don't you?? We made a slight change in the ribbon and the accent
flower, but then again - that's what it's all about - right??
