Covid-19 Cards

Tuesday, April 14, 2020
Some people are so creative and I always wish that I would come up with these clever ideas first.
Lorri Heiling - a Stampin' Up! demonstrator in Arizona made this darling card and I just HAD to make some too.
She even created a PDF for the bottom sentiment "...stayed home" You can check out her blog HERE
I have a sweet friend who made masks for us (including my dad) and I wanted to send her one of these cards as a thank you. I also sent it to another friend who placed an order with me on line. I really appreciate every order that comes in, especially during this time when we cannot hold classes in our homes.
I saw some great ideas on Pinterest for putting a little humor in the whole cover-19 issue (even though it is not a joking matter). Sometimes we just need to have a smile. I made this next card for my sister who lives in Arizona, and in fact, it is her birthday today!!  Happy Birthday Sweet Sister!!
I would cherish your orders especially during this time when I cannot hold classes, so Here is the list to my quick links to contact me or to shop with me

Follow The Yellow Brick Road

Sunday, June 23, 2019
What did you do this weekend?
We were privileged to watch our grand daughter, Gracie, in the Children's Theater production of Dorothy in Wonderland. A fun mix of Wizard of Oz and Alice In Wonderland.
Gracie played the role of Tin Man.
I couldn't resist making her a fun card to tell her how proud we are of her.
I had to dust off some retired products to make this card, and I am so glad that I saved the how-to from creationsonpaper because she no longer maintains a blog.
I love Punch Art, and the Owl Builder Punch, and the Bird Builder Punch have always been favorites of mine.
The Yellow Brick Road was made using a non-Stampin' Up! embossing folder, but Stampin' Up! just came out with a brand new BRICK & MORTAR Embossing Folder that I could have used IF I had purchased it before I made this card.
Clouds: Lift Me Up
Banner: Stitched Labels Dies but I trimmed off the eyelet edges (and love the results)
Dorothy: Marina Mist, Whisper White, Basic Black, Red Glitter paper
Other punches: Medium Oval (R), Scalloped Oval (R).
Scarecrow: Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Real Red (patch), Marina Mist (patch), Tangerine Tango (wings), Crumb Cake
Other Punches: Medium Oval (R)
Tin Man: Basic Gray, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Basic Black.
The hat is just a hand cut triangle with a snip of Basic Gray for the tip.
MINI Rhinestones for his buttons
Lion: So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Chocolate Chip
Other Punches: Scallop Circle, 1/4" circle (basic hand held hole punch)
I did some some sponging on each one and added White Gel Pen to the eyes, and for the screws on the Tin Man.

Everyone who places an ONLINE ORDER  (minimum $50) during the month of June you will receive 1 FREE package of the NEW 2019-2020 In Color Faceted Dots
Faceted, adhesive-backed dots: 90 pieces: 6 each of 5 colors in 3 size. 4mm, 6mm, 8mm In Pretty Peacock, Purple Posy, Rococco Rose, Seaside Spray, Terracotta Tile.
Here is the list to my quick links to contact me or to shop with me

New Catalog Goes LIVE!

Thursday, June 1, 2017
This is such an exciting day!  The Stampin' Up! 2017-18 Catalog goes LIVE!!
Click HERE to view the catalog PDF
If you are like me you would rather have a copy in your hands - this is where I can help you out.  If you have placed an order with me in the past 6 months you can get your FREE copy from me.  I would still love to earn your business.  A copy of the catalog can be yours for only $5.00, and with that comes a gift certificate from me for $5.00 off your first order.
What will you put on your WISH LIST?
How do you view your catalog?
I start at the back - crazy?  No! not at all! I like to see the ribbons and all the extras first.
One thing I am excited about is the Adhesive Sheets that are RETURNING after they have been retired for several years.
The ADHESIVE SHEETS are so perfect for all of our intriquite DIE CUTS.  You get 12 sheets that measure 6" x 12" for only $10.00.
I peeled back the protective backing and placed it on a piece of Night of Navy Card Stock
Check out this hot air balloon from the UP and AWAY FRAMLITS...you can see it has a lot of little pieces that get cut out
Using the BIG SHOT and the PRECISION BASE PLATE, I cut out my Hot Air Balloon from the UP & AWAY DIE set.
I used my DRY BRUSH to get the little pieces out of the cut piece, then peeled the white backing off.
I had the cut out pieces all ready to go so all I had to do was place the strips (also included in the UP & AWAY DIES).  It was such a snap to put these balloons together .
This is the completed card: It was cased from Julie Davison.  You can view her blog and video HERE
Stamps: Lift Me Up
Card Stock: Mint Macron, Whisper White, Night of Navy, Peek-a-boo Peach, Watermelon Wonder (R), Lift Me Up Designer Paper (R)
Ink: Night of Navy
Fun Stuff: Up & Away Framelit Dies, Window Sheet.
I hope you liked this card that I am sharing with your today
I just know that you will LOVE the new Catalog.  It is bigger than I remember it used to be with a ton of great stamps and accessories in it.

A Special Team Meeting

Wednesday, April 19, 2017
Our monthly team meeting was extra special this month!
At our January Team meeting we set a goal for the Sale a bration period (January through March) of $10,000.00.  My team is small, but I knew that $10,000.00 was an achievable goal.  I am so proud of these gals because they reached this goal by the end of February!!
We decided that a night out at Olive Garden was in order.  (a nice break from our traditional team meetings)
I wanted to reward the girls according to their achievements.
Everyone who met their quarterly minimum received this fun Easel Treat Box (inspired by Elaine)
The Drawer holds 3 Ghiradelli Chocolates
I broke up the sales into 6 levels so that the girls were appropriately rewarded so each level got one extra item added to their gift bag.  Congratulations to Sue who was our top seller for the first quarter of 2017!!
I arrived early to set up the area we reserved...

We celebrated 4 birthdays in April, 5 new recruits and one promotion!
Our team loves to share: Lynda shared this beautiful card using a lot of copper and the SPECIAL REASON stamp set and STYLISH STEMS DIES
Inez shared this cute card using the new stamp set  POCKETFUL OF SUNSHINE that she won at a Prize Patrol at ONSTAGE.
She also shared this cute CIRCLE OF SPRING card celebrating Spring
And she shared this darling bumblebee card using the DRAGONFLY DREAMS Stamp Set. She colored the bees wings with GOLD WINK OF STELLA.
Carla brought a card front to show everyone the THIS LITTLE PIGGY stamp set that we all won at ON STAGE.  I cannot wait to play with this cute little Piggy!!
I wanted to focus their Thank you note and table gift using the Sale a bration products.

Here are my top picks for this past week.  I hope they inspire you.
This darling card was made by Debbie Henderson!  You can check out her blog HERE and she even gives you the dimensions on how to create this card fold for yourself.  She is using the COOL TREATS Stamp Set and framelits.  Buy them as a bundle and save 10%
I just cannot seem to get enough of this cute chick from the HEY CHICK stamp set (FREE with a qualifying purchase) This card by Nikki Spencer just makes me smile
LIFT ME UP! a fun stamp set with hot air balloons - this one is by Becky Roberts
How cute is this with all the baking stuff .  Stamp Set is called PERFECT MIX - this one was created by Debbie Henderson
I love how inventive people get.  These cards were made with the circle piece that was the inside of the monsters belly in the fun stamp set YUMMY IN MY YUMMY.  I was thinking of bubblegum or bubbles for a bath time scrapbook page.  Use your imagination.  This was found on a demonstrator FB site by Lavinia Gruizinga
Another cute card made using the PERFECT MIX stamp set by Diana Gibbs
I love the DRAGONFLY DREAMS Stamp Set, but don't forget about this cute bumblebee, and this 6x6  box is adorable by Lauren Huntley
Of all the critters you can make with the FOX BUILDER PUNCH, I like the little skunk the best! Dawn Griffith made these cute bags featuring the FOX BUILDER PUNCH and I am itching to have a chance to make some up.
France Martin.  France and I are in the same CREATIVE STAMPERS group! I love how she used the GORGEOUS GRUNGE Stamp Set to make it look like it is raining.
This last card features some retired Designer Paper and ribbon but I still love how it features the NEW MAKE A MEDALLION stamp set and the Glimmer Paper that you can get for FREE with a qualifying $50 purchase during Sale a bration. This card was found on Pinterest. Check out all the links at the beginning of my blog post to place your order.
