Only 1 Week Until Gracie's 13th Birthday!

Gracie absolutely loves Lucy and when we had a family photo shoot she made sure that she got to have her picture taken with Lucy
This photo was taken last year when Gracie was turning 12 years old

Gracie is growing up so much, but is still very petite for her age. In this photo she is in 6th grade - Middle School, and Lucy is 6 months old - I also can't believe how much Lucy has changed.

This is Gracie's treat for this week... PRINGLES!

And I made her tag with the super fun ANIMAL OUTING Stamp Set

My drawing for October is...

MAKING EVERY DAY BRIGHT Photopolymer Stamp Set

And the CHRISTMAS BULB BUILDER PUNCH

There is so much more to this stamp set than just Christmas. Can you see the cute little bunny, and one that looks like bunny ears? So cute for Spring, along with the flowers. Then there are pinecones, feathers, spider webs and so much creativity!

HERE ARE THE DETAILS for the monthly drawing special:

1. For every $50 ONLINE order (before shipping and tax) you get your name in the drawing.

2. This cannot be in combination with placing an order for a free class, sorry.

3. The drawing will take place on Tuesday, October 30th (because I am leaving for Florida on the 31st for ONSTAGE)

That's it! So now - please - go place your online order!!

October also brings a new Stampin' Up! year and time to start earning the next incentive trip. I have yet to earn one of these and I am super geeked to give it a try again this year. The 2020 incentive trip will be in Maui and I most definitely want to go with all my Stampin' Up! friends.

Each month you will see incentives for sales from me so that I can earn this amazing opportunity. Won't you partner with me to work toward this goal!!

7 Weeks Until Gracie's 13th Birthday!

At (almost) age 6 Gracie started kindergarten

I think her back pack was bigger than her, but her mommy was super small at this age too.

She was so excited to be in big school like big brother Tyler, but now she is not necessarily too fond of school.  No worries, Gracie, neither was Gramma, but I made it through!!
This is Gracie's treat for this week..

Gracie can enjoy a yummy Costco blueberry muffin and then make some for herself and her family later.  She loves to bake with Gramma!
I used the elements from the July Paper Pumpkin Kit Picnic Paradise
I cased the tag from Melissa Davies

Scentsational Season

I loved this cute idea of wrapping the mittens around the mug of hot cocoa So when my hair dresser mentioned she was looking for an idea for masculine teacher gifts and was planning to make homemade hot cocoa, I made up a tag for her to put with her gift.  The little reindeer on the mittens were stamped in Versa Mark and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.  The Stamp Set is called Joyous Celebrations.  The Mug, Steam and Candy Cane is from the stamp set Scentsational Season Both sets are available in the Holiday Mini which is still good through January 2, 2013.

Want to know how I got the hot cocoa chocolate color?

I inked up my stamp with Gumball Green then using a QTip.

I wiped off just the beverage area and re inked that spot with an Early Espresso marker.

Using my Exacto Knife I sliced a line and slid the steam and candy cane stick into it, securing it on the back with some tape.

Thanks to Penny Smiley for the card inspiration

Christmas Tags

Dale and I are blessed to be in a small group at our church and you may have remembered me mentioning it before, but they truly are a blessing to us both.  This month I wanted to treat the ladies with a small gift for Christmas and when I saw these pretty tags done by Penny Smiley I knew they would be the perfect tags for these gifts.

Thankful

Dale and I are involved in a small fellowship group at our church

where we meet (try to) once a month to have a dinner together,

to share in each others lives through prayer and support.

This is a HUGE blessing in our lives and I wanted to let them know

that we are very THANKFUL for them.

November was our month to be the host and hostess

I made some yummy chili (one beef and one chicken)

while the other ladies supplied the remaining menu items.

I had made this Amish Lemon Poppy Seed Friendship Bread up for them

to take home when they left.  What better way to gift someone than

to doll it up with a pretty tag and tulle bow.

The Stamps I used were from French Foliage (my fav!) and

Thankful For... a retired 2 piece set but so glad I keep all my word stamps

Colors used Early Espresso and Cajun Craze on Very Vanilla Card Stock.

Thanks For Stopping By!

Have a Blessed Day!!

Since I wasn't planning to make pumpkin pie this year I think I will have to burn the pumpkin scented candle on Christmas. Thank you Bev!!
