Punch Art Nurse

At the August Punch Art Class I gave all the ladies who pre-paid for their class with this fun little M and M Nurse Punch Art.

And this is how I used mine...

I can't wait to see what the other ladies will do with their M and M punch art nurse.

Meet Mr. Blue

It's a busy schedule for today...

•   Begin baking the cakes for the wedding

•  Meet Joey and Melissa at the church to help decorate

• and tonight is the rehearsal and dinner.

Their engagement was slightly over one year and back when they set the date it seemed

like it was so far away, but WOW did this ever creep up on me fast.

Joey and Melissa worked hard on making their guest favors and I have been busy making

craft sale items.  I can guarantee you their favors are much different than these,

but I think these craft sale goodies turned out cute, don't you??!!

HAHA!!

At one of my recent trips to the local Dollar Store I found these little bags of

M and M cookies.  I initially bought them for a treat for Tyler and Gracie,

but the more my brain started to work I thought they could be cute

with a little topper and a punch art M and M guy.

I took a popular chocolate phrase "life without chocolate is no life at all" and inserted

"M and M" for "Chocolate", then printed them out on the computer.

Do you remember these M and M boxes I made for last years craft sales?

Perhaps I should have used this stamp set instead!!

HAHA!!

Thanks For Stopping By!

Have a Blessed Day!!

Red Hot Challenge

The Red Hot Challenge for this month was to make something from punches other than what the punch(es) are intended for. I love to make things using punches so this was right up my alley. I took my love for the M and M guys, combined it with my Craft Sale needs,

and shared this fun punch art project.

Here's a double your pleasure box...

I actually snagged this idea from Colleen Benedito from the Stampin' Connection -
Thanks, Colleen, for sharing your fun ideas!

We all had to come up with a 1/2 sheet of instructions so I made this visual up
for all the gals that participated...

And since I was making things up for the craft sales -

I just HAD to make a bunch more of the M and M guys ...

Since we are in an M and M theme I thought I would show you some fun
things that others have given me ...

Tyler and Gracie saw these cute cups at the store and thought Gramma really
needed to have them on hand. Actually they are a great size, the kids love to use them,
and when I use them they always make me smile.

My friend, Marla, found these mugs she had on hand when she started packing up her house to move. When her husband asked her what she wanted to do with them she right away said "Christi Jo!! I'm going to give them to Christi!" Thanks Marla! I LOVE them!

Have a Sweet Day!!

A Special Gift

My sweet friend, Marla, bought these fun M and M ear buds for me because she knows how much I LOVE the little M and M guys.

In fact, I root for the M and M car with NASCAR - not the driver (Kyle Busch), but the car. I think these little candy characters have fun personalities and they make me smile

Marla probably knew that once we move (tomorrow) I want to start walking more with some of the freed up time that I hope to have.
Dale couldn't be out done so he purchased me the ipod NANO and then down loaded some music and some of my brother in laws sermons to keep me moving while I walk.

Thank you Marla and Dale - you are both so sweet!

So in the spirit of M and M's I thought I would give you a sneak peek at one of the techniques I plan to teach at July's Techie Class...complete with yummy M and M's.

This is a Dial Card using Stampin' Ups! Sweet Treat Cups

I saw this technique done by Beth Crocker.

If you would like to sign up for the July 5th Techie Class please contact me through email at christijo48@sbcglobal.net
Cost for the Techie class is $12.00 and you will learn a total of 3 techniques.
Please bring along your own adhesive to help keep the cost down.

I will post the tutorial after the July 5th class for those of you who do not live in my area or are not able to attend this class.

Have a Blessed Day!!

M & M's Fan!

I LOVE M & M’s!! Especially the peanut kind, and when voting for my favorite M & M guy – my choice is Yellow! Of course this means I need to vote for the M & M NASCAR driven by Kyle Busch!

Our daughter and our grandchildren were out one day and spotted the M & M car on display in his car carrier trailer so they had to take a picture by it and send it to Gramma’s cell phone. Tyler is a HUGE NASCAR fan, but he roots for Jeff Gordon, but he thought it was pretty neat to see the M & M car up close.

And here is a card I made with the M & M theme. Thanks to the Stampin’ Connection for this yummy idea! If you would like to have access to the Stampin’ Connection all you need to do is contact me and I will help you sign up as a demonstrator – and NOW is the BEST time EVER! Until the end of June, Stampin’ Up! is offering a Mini Starter Kit for only $99.00. Then you can be a part of Christi’s Creative Crew and the Red Hot Stampers!! The benefits are endless – how about giving me a call TODAY!!!

So For Now…

Happy Stamping
