Gum Holders

Why have a boring pack of gum in your purse when you can carry one

of these fun Holiday themed creations?!

I had a few of the Mentos UP2 gum and made them a Halloween theme

using the tags from the  Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit in the Holiday Mini

#126914 $7.95

but what I really love is how these Christmas themed ones turned out.

The COME TO BETHLEHEM (left) was stamped with StazOn ink

so I didn't have to worry about the ink smearing when I did the sponging,

but on the FIRST CHRISTMAS (right) I wanted to have the baby Jesus in

a warm Chocolate Chip color.  The words are in Midnight Muse and I knew that

both of those would smear, so thankfully I had the new style ink pads that

allow you to heat emboss as long as you do it quickly.

I stamped both the creche and the words then put clear embossing powder on

both and heat embossed it and it went perfectly fine.

The star was stamped with Versa Mark and heat embossed with

gold embossing powder.

A simple 1 1/4" circle punched out of a post it note stuck over

the stars while I sponged created the lovely moon glow.

A little Basic Rhinestone in the center of the stars give it the extra "bling" effect!

Have a Blessed Day!!

My First MDS Card!!

I'm so excited!!

I want to share with you my first MY DIGITAL STUDIO card that I made...

I can't believe how easy this was once I learned the ropes.

MDS 2 is the BOMB!! I love how we can color images in  like the

little pumpkin on the greeting.

I printed the pumpkin from the download JACK OF ALL TRADES

and the greeting from SEASONAL SAYINGS

Then cut them out and attached to my card front.

I stamped the spiders from GOOGLIE GHOULS then embossed

them with the Spider Web Embossing Folder

Last Week Thursday at our gals play day we all chipped in to help Rachel

with some projects she had going, but since her sweet Mister secured a babysitter

for Master Owen she could stay and play ALL DAY!! WOOT WOOT!!!!

Once she had her projects well in hand, she picked up one of my projects...

which was another MY DIGITAL STUDIO card I was making.

Take a peek...

I think it is one of my favorite cards ever!!

This sweet little girl from GREETING CARD KIDS just gives

me the 'warm fuzzies' all over.

Thanks Rachel and Marla

for playing with me!

See you next week!!

RHSSC #52

Our Red Hot Stamper Sketch Challenge for this week...

Hmmmm....this sketch looked a little simple so I knew I would need to dress it up with Designer Paper and/or some texturizing with our Embossing Folders.  I let the sketch sit out on my table so that I could keep my eye on it while I was working on other things.

That is one way that I can catch an inspiration for these challenges.

I was borrowing the stamp set MONSTER MUNCHIES from my friend, Sue, for the greeting on this Halloween card (isn't the mummy so cute!!), when I thought...

"HEY", "I think that same saying would be great in the little rectangle spot on the left", and since I was also borrowing Sue's stamp set SPOOKY BINGO BITS, and, since I had the Stamp Set GOOGLIE GHOULS sitting out any way....

So here is my take on it...

Don't you just love how it all comes together?!!

Guess I better go set out next weeks Sketch Challenge so I have all week to think about it!!

Now Click HERE to see what the other gals did this week with their sketch.

Thanks For Stopping By!

Have a Blessed Day!!
