Guest Stamper, Sue

At our team meeting last week we had a full house and lots of sharing! I just love it when everyone participates.

Today's shares are from Sue - these are the cards that they made at her last card buffet class...

Gone Fishing Bundle.

She said that her stampers are getting much better in their sponging/blending

Lighting The Way Dies

Don't you just love this soft yellow color? It's called Lemon Lolly

The stamp set that Sue used is PETAL PARK

and the best part is that it has a coordinating punch to punch out the flowers.

Such a pretty color combo using the BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL 6x6

Designer Paper (on sale this month for 15% off)

This is a fun technique... she cut 1/2" strips of Basic White card stock and then layered 1/2" squares to make a pattern. The designer paper she used is the large pack that we were able to get FREE during the last SAB, but she combined it with the CHEERFUL DAISIES Dies.

Super Cute!

This card was made using the 6x6 pack of HELLO, IRRESISTIBLE

designer paper. (which is on sale this month at 15% off)

One of my favorite Designer Papers - FRESH AS A DAISY.

It makes card making super simple with the gorgeous prints.

Also on sale this month for 15% off

Sue used the CIRCLE SAYINGS stamp set along with some retired

designer paper, and she embossed it all in gold

This is a fun & cheerful, summery card using punches!

The Medium Daisy Punch is retired (but that doesn't mean we can't still use it!)

the BOUGH Punch and the LADYBUG BUILDER Punch

Thanks for sharing, Sue!

Lovely Ladybug

A friend asked me to make her a special card for a baby shower

Guidelines: Lady Bugs

This is the card I made for her...

I pulled out some retired products that were my favorites and loved the outcome, but I wanted to try it for a class so pulled out current product.

Instead of the Square Lattice Embossing Folder I used the BASKETWEAVE Embossing Folder

Instead of the Dots Embossing Folder (on the flowers) I used SOFTLY FALLING (only to realize that  the Softly Falling Embossing Folder has recently been retired)

I wanted to make it a birthday card so pulled out the PARCELS & PETALS BUNDLE  for the Birthday greeting and the die to cut it out.

GOOD MORNING MAGNOLIA Stamp Set is what I used for the leaves, DAISY PUNCH and 3/4" CIRCLE PUNCH for the flowers.

My little ladybug is made from the 3/4" circle punch, 1/2" circle punch and the antenna are from the FROSTED BOUQUET Dies:

Being creative you can get 4 sets of antennas from one die cut.

This card was displayed at my New Catalog Launch and it got rave reviews. I will feature it at one of my Tuesday classes. Please join us on July 2 for the class that will feature this card.

Everyone who places an ONLINE ORDER  (minimum $50) during the month of June you will receive 1 FREE package of the NEW 2019-2020 In Color Faceted Dots

Faceted, adhesive-backed dots: 90 pieces: 6 each of 5 colors in 3 size. 4mm, 6mm, 8mm In Pretty Peacock, Purple Posy, Rococco Rose, Seaside Spray, Terracotta Tile.

January Cakes

During January I was hired to make three different cakes. You may have seen this one I made for Melina, one of my day care girls who loves cows.

The second cake was for a gal in my stamping group whose little girl was having Lady Bug Birthday.

It is just like the one I made for our grand daughter, Gracie, with just a few changes in color.
Click HERE if you want to see Gracie and her cake.

The third cake was this past weekend for Senator Bill Huizenga'a birthday celebration...

Over 4" tall and nearly 5# of icing - YUMMOLA!!!

Bill's wife wanted a fun printed greeting - NO SCRIPT - so when I was working on cards I came across this stampfrom our Cherry Chats retired stamp set - so I used that as my inspiration for the greeting.
Who said Stampin' Up! was only for making cards!!??!!

Perhaps you remember his primary cake I made last year...click HERE to see that one.

I never know what each month will bring for cake orders, but I was honored by each one who asked me to make something special for their special days.
