These first two cards were gift card holders by Pam

This next one I remember because it wasn't necessarily a share, but a personal Christmas card from Carla. She used the PEACE TO YOU Stamp Set - One of my favorites in the July-December Mini Catalog

FRAMED FLORETS is the stamp set used on this next card by Janell

This cute Scottie Dog card is also a gift card holder, made by Inez

Several shares were made using the PEACE TO YOU Stamp Set

SWEET CANDY CANES - Card by Anna

A cute penguin card also made by Anna

This next card was made by Debbie O. She also gifted me this darling Christmas Tree Ornament that has a secret compartment that she filled with cash. Debbie is always so generous!

Debbie also made this darling camper card using the ASPEN DIE along with the TREES FOR SALE stamp set and dies. I love that cute little camper and wish it was still available to purchase.

Christmas Cards

Let's share some Christmas Cards

Card #1 was inspired by Jan Musselman

What I used: Perched In a Tree

The colors on the bird are Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze (this part is a little too dark for me, but it still works.

What I changed: The card base color I switched to Soft Suede, I changed up the sentiment and fussy cut around it. Jan used some retired On The Horizon DSP but I had some other retired DSP with a Pool Party color palette that I wanted to use up.

Card #2 was inspired by Judy May, and I pretty much cased her card exactly. I offered two of the designs from Lights Aglow 6x6 paper stack. As I am looking this up for you - it must be sold out and unavailable. Such beautiful paper, I guess I'm not surprised.

This product will be available to purchase now and will be included in the new January - June Mini catalog. However, the little gold swirls, the designer paper & the Framed & Festive Stamp Set are only available while supplies last. Don't miss out!!

OnStage Swaps

What a great time we had at the Stampin' Up! OnStage Event in Indianapolis

One fun added feature of the weekend was the I SPY game that Stephanie Flath prepared for us.

One of the photos that I had to take was of my favorite swap card that I swapped out with other demonstrators at OnStage

After pearing things down I decided that this was my favorite card

However... there were so many very cute cards that it really was a hard choice

So I am featuring some runners-up

The idea behind swapping cards is to gather ideas that we can use on future classes. With that being said - I am most likely to make card #2 with the HAND PENNED flowers and scalloped edge from the SCALLOPED CONTOUR DIES

I also REALLY LOVE the Navitity card using the PEACE TO YOU stamp set.

Have you checked out my youtube channel lately to watch the reveal of all of the swaps that I received at OnStage?

Did you know that if you watch them and make a comment I am having a drawing for the beautiful faux leather swag bag?

Deadline is November 30th.

I have also been LOVING the new FITTING FLORETS Collection!

Christmas Card Class

Life is taking a little curve ball lately - I have had MANY surgeries in the last 6 - 9 years. Mostly on my feet, but also my back and then a broken back last year. I'm really tired of being "down"

This is my view right now...

And this is the hardware that the doctor took out of my foot. You know that it needed to come out when the Doctor says "oh, that poor girl" after surgery. It took just a bit longer than expected. I was walking on the screws and the bone was growing around it causing little bone bumps so he shaved them all down too. I sure do hope that I am good to go after this.

Thankfully this time around I can put weight on my foot 100%, and NO knee cart!! woo hoo!!

Katy and I watched the guys grind the tree stump down on Saturday

I spend limited time downstairs in my craft room because it is still best to keep it elevated because of swelling.

So since I haven't made any new cards, I thought that I would share the Christmas cards that I am featuring at my Christmas Card Class on Friday & Saturday, September 16 & 17

Choose the day that works best for your schedule

We will be making 8 cards, 2 each of 4 designs.

Cost is only $16.00, but you need to RSVP so I can have your kit prepped for you. You can contact me HERE to let me know you are coming.

This first card features the PEACE TO YOU stamp set and the WINDOWS DIES

Card #1 is a step card

Colors: Starry Sky, Basic White and Gold

I will suggest using the STAMPARATUS on solid stamps like this one.

Am am also using the Gold & Silver 6x6 Designer Paper that was a free product during Sale a bration.

Everyone who comes to the Christmas Card Class will go home with a supply of this designer paper.

Card #2 also features the PEACE TO YOU Stamp Set and the Gold & Silver 6x6 Designer Paper

Instead of Starry Sky Card Stock, this card used Night of Navy and Gold Foil using the STITCHED RECTANGLES DIES.

This is one of my most used die sets - a must have for card making

Again, I strongly suggest using the STAMPARATUS when using solid image stamps like this one.

This is an amazing stamp positioning tool.
