More Fun Than A Barrel of Monkeys

Yesterday I posted a fun Back to School Teacher Treat

But what did I make for Tyler and Gracie to give to their teachers

on the first day of school??

I found these banana shaped marshmallow treats at the dollar store

and wanted to make up some fun treats for the kids teachers as well

as some Craft Sale items

The tags on these say:

"First (Fifth for Tyler) Grade is going to be more fun than Barrel of Monkeys"

For the ones I made for the Craft Sales I put a variety of Monkey jokes

These are two of my favorites...

What do you call a Monkey

in a garden?

A Plant Manager!!

.....................................

What do you call

a Monkey in a tree?

A Branch Manager!!

Wouldn't those be fun to give to your boss at work?

By The Way... The teachers LOVED their gifts from Tyler and Gracie

Thanks For Stopping By!

Have a Blessed Day!!

Back to School

Next week our grand children Tyler and Gracie will be back in school. Guess it is time to post what I made for them to bring to their teachers. I REALLY wanted to steal my friend Rachel's idea of what she was making for her kiddos to take to their teachers because she is a very crafty and inventive person and I LOVED her idea, BUT... thought I better get inventive and creative on my own (sigh*)

For Gracie's teacher (Kindergarten) I set out three ideas and this is the one she chose

I used a little old with the new...
Tart And Tangy (retired)
It's A Wrap Occasions (new)

The technique I used on the apple that is on the black card stock
is called Chalkboard Technique
I will post a "How To" on the basket tomorrow.

When I asked Tyler (4th grade) what he wanted Gramma to make for his teacher he told me it couldn't be "girly"

Tyler was okay with this wise teacher owl and a skinny sleeve of Peanut Butter M&M's in the Hudsonville School colors of Maize and Blue!

Have a great school year kids!!

Love, Gramma
