Henry Says "Sawyer is 4 months old"!!

Our  little Sawyer is 4 months old already.  So great when they start to smile and interact.  My pen pal, Becky, made the cute onsies for Sawyer using the fabric that Stampin' Up! used to sell.

Time to share another Henry Says Card.  I just love this cute little elephant!! Instead of being "Throwback Thursday", I will call it "Way Back Wednesday".  This is the stamp set that started it all with me liking elephants when I created a story line around the Henry Says stamp set.

Henry Says...Congratulations on Your New Baby!

I think I found a kindred spirit! One of our new mom's at church love elephants too and decorated their new baby girls room in elephants.  Had I known this before her shower I am sure I would have had a different gift for her that was elephant related.  At least I could make her an elephant baby card. I found this tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers by Michelle Zindorf.  Absolutely fell in love with it.  This card will fit in an A10 envelope.

 Although HENRY SAYS and FRIENDLY PHRASES stamp sets are both retired, perhaps you were one of the lucky ones who purchased these stamp sets when they were available. Below is a list of the other supplies I used on this card.  Hop on over to Michelle's tutorial for all the details.

And while we are talking elephants, meet the newest member to our family...her name is Violet.

 I absolutely adore her! She sleeps with me every night (she is the perfect size for a neck rest) and keeps Peter the bear company on our bed during the day.  Of course when Gracie is here Peter and Violet get to join in the fun with all our other stuffed friends.  I love hearing Gracie carry on a conversation with all of them.

A Loving Heart

This card was made possible by using the Designer Paper called MORE AMORE."  On one of the 12x12 sheets it had this phrase in the bottom right corner.  It would be perfect for you scrap bookers out there, but when I saw this card by Lisa Hensley I knew it would be fun to make another HENRY SAYS card.  the scallop heart is also from the same designer paper.  Quick and easy card, making my designer paper work for me!!

Henry Says...Happy Birthday

Henry Says...It's Your Birthday!

 What a fun way to team up matching party invitations with the birthday card!  This actually happened by accident  when I stamped Henry in the same dotted Designer paper, but when I put it on the birthday card it was too busy.  I certainly didn't want to waste a good cut out image of Henry so I went back to the sketch challenge binder for  an idea to make a matching invitation.

Aren't you proud of me - I haven't CASED anyone all week long!  When I started out making cards using the HENRY SAYS! stamp set I pulled out my handy dandy sketch challenge binder that Glenda gave her Red Hot Stamper team way back when and chose sketches from there.

Henry Says...Happy Valentines Day

Henry is sharing our first Valentines Card with you.  I teamed up many of the HENRY SAYS stamps with another NEW stamp set called BEYOND PLAID.  It is perfect for creating a different ("outfit") look for Henry depending on what theme card you are making.  The words are from WISHES YOUR WAY, another new set in the Spring Catalog.  It works perfectly for teaming up with Henry blowing wishes from his trunk.

The Heart punches I used from the largest to the smallest...Small Heart, Heart to Heart (retired) and Owl Builder.

So what is Henry up to while I am attending the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference?  He is having a week long sleepover with Tyler and Gracie.  Looks like he was playing a Wii game with Tyler and Gracie.  I wonder who won??!!

Henry Says Make a Joyful Noise + RHSSC #70

Just because we are not home to go to church doesn't mean that Henry has to stay home, right?  Here he is singing right alongside Brian our minister of Fine Arts and Worship.

This is the card that we made to give to our children's music director and guess what... the name of our children's choir is called JOYFUL NOISE!  they did a FABULOUS job at this years Christmas program called MEET ME AT THE MANGER.

Once again we used the SAB Designer Paper SYCAMORE STREET.  The words were generated by computer because I didn't have a stamp that said exactly what I wanted.  The music notes are from NATURES PACE.  Colors used: Island Indigo and Tangerine Tango.

This is also Red Hot Stamper Sketch Challenge day.  This is the sketch we had to work with...

Oops! I guess I got carried away and made two. :) This is a NEW stamp set called ALL DRESSED UP which can be purchased as a bundle with the Framelits, and the buttons are cut from the SWEET BUTTONS EMBOSSLIT.

Miss You Already

Henry is sad because we are leaving on a very important trip! We are on our way to Florida for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Convention!!   I can't wait to get there and see all the fabulous new ideas from other demonstrators.  An added bonus (besides the fact my hubby is joining me) is that we are sharing a Disney Resort condo with my sister and her hubby so we are headed out early and making a week of it.  While we are gone Henry will be staying with Tyler and Gracie so he won't be lonely. Meet Henry

I would like to introduce you to Henry, he is my new little buddy...

In the NEW Spring Catalog, Stampin' Up! has a cute stamp called HENRY SAYS #128090 $29.95 Wood Mount or #128093 $21.95.  This is a versatile stamp set that you will definitely want to have in your stamp collection. I started making cards with this cute set and now Henry has become a part of my everyday life.

So...Henry Says...  MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Tonight we will celebrate Christmas with our children and grandchildren, and Henry is ready to celebrate with us. Henry went grocery shopping with us and helped us pick out the yummy ham that we will be serving tonight.

 Here he is all buckled up and ready to go, but my hubby let Henry take a turn at driving for just a bit.

 

This ham looks just about right...

 

Henry asked if he could take a short ride on the grocery conveyor belt...

I better not tell him about the penny horsey ride at Meijer or he will want to do that too.
