Sentimental Sunday

It's been a while since I posted a Sentimental Sunday post
Dale & I are in a small group within our church and last year one of the guys died suddenly of a heart attack. We miss this guy so very, very much.
As a group we wanted to purchase something for his wife in his honor.
After much debating and searching we decided on a bench that will set in front of our church where people can sit while they are waiting for their valet car to arrive.

This is the majority of our group. I was not there as well as two others.

They asked if I would be willing to make a card that everyone would be able to sign

I used a non-Stampin' Up! bench die, and the words were generated on the computer.

The stamp sets that I used are:

     Colorful Season

     Vertical Greetings

      Enjoy Life

Come Stamp With Me!

It's Tuesday! and one of my favorite days of the week because it's COME STAMP WITH ME TUESDAY!!
Each Tuesday I have an open house style "class" with 4 stations set up.
Ladies come when they can between 10am and 5pm and can make as many or as few cards as they want or need.
I give myself some freedom on this class and will use retired stamp sets and products.  They love it because they have purchased these stamp sets in the past and this gives them ideas of how to use the stamps that they already have.
These are the cards that I have out for today.

This first card combines the retired designer paper with the current stamp set A GOOD MAN! They love it when I feature masculine cards.

This second card I used the current BIRD BALLAD Designer paper, and the current Stamp Set SPECIAL CELEBRATION, but the little bird stamps are from a Paper Pumpkin Kit. This card was inspired by Kez

I am anxious to get my hands on some new Christmas Stamp Sets but DASHING DEER carried over to the Annual Catalog so it is still current, but the Designer Paper is retired from last years Holiday Catalog. I can tend to be a paper hoarder so wanted to use it up on my Tuesday classes

The ladies have 3 choices with this last card OR they can make one or more of each for a beautiful set. These cards feature the retired stamp set Vertical Greetings. I originally bought this stamp set because I wanted the vertical words, but I am loving the topiaries stamps. These cards were inspired by Alex

I forgot to document who the originator of this card was, but I do remember that she was one of the Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Germany.  She did not give any instructions, but I was able to figure out approximately how she did it.
Such a clever technique - wish I could come up with these ideas and be an original designer!!

I think Sawyer will think this is fun being able to move the icing up and down to reveal the darling bunny.

One black and white butterfly punched from the Botanical Butterflies Designer Paper that was FREE during Sale a bration.
