Because we featured the Art Gallery stamp set in our Make & Take for the team meeting last week (you can see that post HERE)

I decided to play (big time) with this stamp set and make samples to inspire my team

This one is a note card size

Dressed To Impress

Thursday, April 29, 2021

My craft room is completely painted! And I love it!!

My hubby has worked so very hard, but today he goes back to work so all the last minute details (like hanging stuff back up on the wall, etc) will have to wait to work on during an evening or over the weekend.

Once my work station was cleaned off and all my stamps put back in place, I decided to finish up some projects. I started with the DRESSED TO IMPRESS stamp set and the Designer Paper that came out when the stamp set was launched. I'm afraid that the Designer Paper is not current, but perhaps you picked some up when it was - Dressed To Impress Stamp Set IS in the New Annual Catalog.

The purses on this first card were cut from some of the designer paper, The Happy Birthday is from NEW WONDER (R) and the tag is one of our NEW tags dies set called TAILOR MADE TAGS - these will be so handy for card making and treats

INSIDE:

Happy Birthday on this next card is from PEACEFUL MOMENTS

The sentiment on this next card is from CELEBRATE SUNFLOWERS
The Alphabet die set on this next card is called HAND LETTERED PROSE (R). I stamped the flower image using Versa Mark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. After the letters were cut out, I popped them up using Foam Adhesive Strips.

I definitely cased some super talented demos

Make Beautiful Cards With Your Designer Paper

Wednesday, April 7, 2021

By now you all know that I am a big advocate of casing cards from other demonstrators

This card is no different - it's one I cased from Gail Ellis

What I changed up: I chose to make it a beautiful Mother's Day card using the DRESSED TO IMPRESS stamp set and the die also comes from that. When I have this card out for the gals to make at a class, I will offer a variety of sentiments because this card could be for any occasion.

This gorgeous Hydrangea Hill designer paper makes a beautiful focal point for this card.

I used the design on the top left. Stampin' Up! offers a lot of 12 x 12 images like this, and at the beginning I thought "why?", and thought I would only be able to use them for scrapbooking, but after watching talented demonstrators like Gail I realized I was limited myself, and I've learned so much!
Good News is that the Hydrangea Haven stamp set and dies will be in the new annual catalog, but this gorgeous paper will NOT.  Grab some before it is too late.
FYI: the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder is also on the Last Chance List.

Team Shares

Monday, March 15, 2021

Today I thought that I would share the cards and projects that my team shared at our monthly meeting last week. I love to give them credit. I know that they may have CASED or been inspired by other demonstrators, but I do not know for sure and none of them have a blog to link you to.

All that being said... here are some cards to inspire you

Chris is on the Activities Committee at work and was asked to make a little gift card hold for the employees that would hold a gift card for a shamrock shake. Very Clever.  The leprechaun's beard is a stamp and die from one of our retired ice cream sets
Ronda made this set, it was a birthday card and treat for me for my birthday
Linda shared 5 cards and you can see the middle one I'm showing you what it looks like when you open it. It's a sort of window step card and she used the In Good Taste Designer Paper.
These are the cards and projects that Carla made. She puts her cards and gift-ables at a Bridal shop in her town. The one on the left is a Post-it Note holder, and the other - a cute little basket that would be great for table favors at a shower.
Inez played with her Butterfly Brilliance Bundle - They are so pretty. The one on the bottom left was cased from my friend Julie Gilson
These three are from Pam - isn't it great how we have such a variety of designer paper to use on our cards - it really makes card making simple. The top right card was a sketch challenge that we did at our team meeting last month

Jodie is the creator of these three cards - she also used last months sketch challenge for the middle card. The card on the top right was one she made for my birthday.

I hope these creations will inspire you to make up some cards and send them.

I tell my team that if we are going to MAKE cards, then we MUST be the BEST CARD SENDERS!

Two members of our team recently lost a parent and they expressed how thankful they were to be thought of and for all the beautiful cards that everyone sent them.

I know that I REALLY appreciated all the birthday cards that were sent to me this month (and they are still tricking in). this is a sampling...

Dressed to Impress Thank You Note Cards

Tuesday, April 28, 2020
Check out the RETIRING PRODUCTS LIST HERE

Here is a fun pack of note cards you can give as a gift.  I bet there are plenty of people in your life right now that you would like to thank, and a pack like this would brighten their day.

A total of 5 note cards with envelopes in a clear acetate box, and the little tube of lipstick is actually an ink pen! How clever is that??

These cards were inspired by Lorri Heiling - a Stampin' Up! demonstrator in Arizona.
You can use the Scalloped Note Cards and Envelopes, but I did not have them so created my own using the STITCHED BE MINE DIES to make the scalloped edge.
The darling perfume bottle stamp is from the DRESSED TO IMPRESS Stamp Set
Also used from the Dressed to Impress Suite are the BEST DRESSED TASSELS.  They come in 3 colors - white, petal pink and pretty peacock.  I snipped off the ring and trimmed down the tassel.
Interested in buying a kit? You can contact me HERE for pricing. OR you can purchase the DRESSED TO IMPRESS Stamp Set HERE and make your own.
