Christmas Card Class #2

Christmas Card Class #2

After the first Christmas card class I had so many more Christmas cards prepped and planned that I would never have room for in a weekly class so I booked another Christmas card class for Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7 at 9:00 each day.

Cost is only $2.00 per card as long as you bring your own adhesive

Choose the day that works best for you

These are the cards that will be out at those classes

Inspired by Lynn Dunn

Each of these cards were made with the Season of Elegance Designer Paper and two stamp sets/bundles PEACEFUL EVERGREENS and PEACEFUL SEASON

Nests of Winter

One of the prettiest designer papers that we have right now is called NESTS OF WINTER

During Sale a bration last year the designer paper that we could earn FREE was full of beautiful bird images, and this one is SO GORGEOUS! I have to decide which print I want to use and what I want to save for my scrapbooking!! What I tell my stampers: "it's only paper" and I can buy more.

During a recent Tuesday class I ran out of one of the Christmas cards within 90 minutes so I pulled out this card using the Nests of Winter DSP, and that too was gone by the end of the day.

I will not lie - I did fussy cut all of those cute birds for everyone before hand. I guess I really do spoil them, but fussy cutting is my 'super-power', it gives my hands something to do while I watch a TV program at night. Helps to stave away the "munchies"

The sentiment and the cute die comes from PEACEFUL SEASON

Two new ONLINE EXCLUSIVE Suites are now available

Red Hot Challenges

Each month Glenda issues us Red Hot Stampers a Challenge. At last months meeting we tried out the new Letterpress Plates from the Holiday Mini. I wasn't feeling too creative so I decided to copy the card featured in the Holiday Mini, but then I realized "What a great idea" because we are always telling our customers that the catalog is your best source for layout ideas. I also read one demo's blog that she purposefully designs one of her Stamp A Stack cards each month right from the catalog to show the ladies what a wonderful resource it really is. So - here is my challenge card...

I wish I would have taken a picture of the Halloween card Glenda sent us using one of the Letterpress plates

Then look what I got in the mail the other day...

Another Red Hot Challenge from Glenda.
Isn't this a cute gift card holder? check out the inside...

Our Challenge this time is to make a gift card holder...

So I did!!

This time I pulled out my sewing machine for the stitching around the edges.

MENU:
SS: Peaceful Season
CS: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla
INK: Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke
Accessories: Deck The Halls Big Designer Buttons (Holiday Mini), hemp Twine, Scallop Edge Border.
Thanks To: Lynn Pratt
