Christi's Creative Crew: Square Pillow Box Die

This is one of the cards that the ladies made at the COME STAMP WITH ME TUESDAY open house style class I hold each week here in my craft room.

This is one of my favorite days because I never know who or how many will show up that day. I am thankful for my up line Glenda who let me borrow this stamp. I used the NEW Bough's and Berries Embossing Folder along with the Metallic Doilies, Silver Cording and Silver Satin Ribbon. I did a bit of work ahead of time because the words and the dove are on one stamp and since I wanted the dove cut out and the words lined up at a different alignment I chose to emboss all the words and doves ahead of class time. A lot of work?? Sure, but I love it and it is just my way of loving on these ladies who come.
While I had the stamp I thought I would make up these cute pillow boxes

Vellum Card Stock embossed with White Embossing Powder, and colored in on the back side with Bermuda Bay

Very Vanilla Card Stock embossed with Silver Embossing Powder (this one matches the card they made)

Vellum Card Stock embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. See the crinkly gold thread? Want to know where I got it??
Do you remember the post from yesterday?
The SPRING ladies made this card Tuesday night and I had run out of the Thick Very Vanilla Twine

So I pulled out my Gold Bakers Twine

You can see the difference in the width - here they are side by side

I just pulled off the gold metallic thread so that I would have enough Very Vanilla Bakers Twine for the girls cards on Tuesday night.

Got to be smart with those left overs!!

Here is a list of the supplies used on the Christmas Card.

Normally I HATE spiders. I FREAK OUT when I see one, and usually have to have Dale rush to my rescue to squish the little invaders. BUT... this little spider stamp is so cute, and at least he is not crawling around in my house. the stamp set is call A LITTLE SOMETHING and I also have a disgust relationship with the webs, BUT...once again these SPIDER WEB DOILIES are so cute. This is a fun treat put together using the SQUARE PILLOW BOX THINLITS DIES. In fact you can team up the stamp set and the Pillow box die as a bundle and save 15%!!

This card features the SPIDER WEB DOILIES and the AMONG THE BRANCHES stamp set. You can team up the stamp set with the WOODLAND TEXTURED EMPRESSIONS EMBOSSING FOLDER in to bundle and save 15%

Here's another fun one

Just so you know - the SPIDER WEB DOILIES are black on one side but white on the other side. You can color them with markers or ink daubers or keep them plain white. Lookie what else: when you cut them apart: a princess crown - how fun is that!!

One more card: This one teams the Embossing Folder, the AMONG THE BRANCHES stamp set, the cute SPIDER WEB DOILIES and... the SEASONAL FRAME THINLITS DIES. With this set of dies you get 4 words: "Spooky", "Snow", "Grateful" and "FALALA". This one, too, has a bundle with the SPARKLY SEASON stamp set (15% discount)!! The FINE TIP GLUE PEN is perfect for adhering the fine words. I will have everything listed below for your convenience.
