Sometimes it is just fun to pull out some of those favorite retired stamp sets and play.
I had a need for some humorous birthday cards so pulled out my YOUNG AT HEART Stamp Set
I was inspired by Sonja, one of our German demonstrators to make this card, but needed to change up the balloons to use what I had on hand which is another retired stamp set called RIDE WITH ME, and my "happy birthday" is from the April Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Another unsung hero is our son, Jeff.
Jeff is an award winning termite specialist for the mid-west region.
Now, you might think why would a termite guy be an unsung hero?
Well, have you ever had any kind of bug infestation in your home?
Do you ever spend a night in a motel or hotel?
These guys work behind the scenes to keep your place free of bugs (which are so icky) and they make sure that their motel/hotel clients do not have any bed bugs. Oh the stories he could tell you - he even had to be a witness in court for his business.
I thought it only appropriate to make a duplicate of Jeff's work truck for him...using the RIDE WITH ME BUNDLE
I'm not sure if Jeff's dream was to be an Orkin-Man when he got his Bachelors in Science Degree, but it has been a great job for him and he is able to support his growing family.
Needless to say, we are very proud of him, and our family and friends are very thankful for his expertise.
I sure am having a lot of fun making up different trucks using the RIDE WITH ME BUNDLE
But you can also make some pretty cute cards with the stamps too.
Check out this one I cased from the Annual Catalog

With both Dale's Soap business and my Stampin' Up! business we have a VERY REGULAR delivery via UPS to bring in all our supplies.
When I saw this adorable UPS 3D truck I just had to give it a try, and then I had to make a whole fleet of UPS trucks for the craft sales this fall.
I couldn't leave out my faithful mail carrier...
What a great little gift for your faithful UPS driver - come on - admit it - you get your fair share of packages delivered too. I am quicker to buy on line than run to a store now days.
The UPS truck was inspired by Sabine.

Today we leave on a one-way flight to Arizona where we will pick up the new (to us) vehicle that we purchased, and then we will take a 3-4 day road trip home.
While we will be driving a van, not a pick up truck, I still thought it was fun day to post these photos and a fun video today in honor of our road trip.
I am so in love with this darling little pick up truck, and the RIDE WITH ME Stamp Set.
Buy them as a bundle and save 10%
I chose to make my first truck from Daffodil Delight Card Stock because our 17 year old grandson owns a bright yellow pick up
For the windows I stamped the images onto VELLUM Card Stock, and hand cut them out. Be sure to heat your stamped image just a bit so the ink does not smear.
For the wheels I cut the Basic Black from the circle dies included in the bundle, punched out 1/2" circles from Whisper White, then added some silver 1/4" circles using a standard handheld hole punch. I used some retired Brushed Silver Card Stock because I have a ton of it on hand, but you could easily just use the SILVER FOIL or Smoky Slate.
I even gave Tyler's truck a vanity plate!!
Now for the box...
Since I have made so many boxes over the years I just had to do a little figuring, but to save you the headache of figuring it out - here are the dimensions that I used:
Cut Crumb Cake Card Stock 3" x 5 1/4"
Score On the long side at 1", 2-3/8", 3-3/8", 4-3/4"
Score on the short side at 1" and 2"
You will cut out 2 tabs when assembling the box, but this is basic box building.
My Stampin' Up! Logo came from a stamp set that we demonstrators received several years ago at a Leadership conference (what they used to call the mid-way conferences) called Workshop Words BUT...you are in luck and can purchase Washi Tape called FOLLOW YOUR ART pg 172 in the Annual Catalog.
The finished dimensions of the box are 1-3/8" wide x 1" high and 1" deep, and is the perfect size to hold one Chocolate Hershey Nugget.
Here is a video how-to for putting it together.
You can bet I will be having some of these at our Fall Craft Sales.

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since February 2008 and I LOVE IT! I have been married to Dale, the little boy I fell in love with when we were only 5 years old, for 45 years now. Our three adult children and our married-in children and our 7 wonderful grandchildren are our joy and delight. I am so thankful that they all support me in my Stampin' Up! business. My blog content is my sole responsibility and Stampin’ Up! does not endorse my website.
