Let's Take a Bike Ride

Thursday, August 24, 2017
Love this new stamp set called BIKE RIDE!
Don't let all the little elements scare you off because look what an adorable card it makes.
On the inside I used the "to" from BANNERS FOR YOU and the "you" is a die from the retired Hello You Thinlits.
I totally CASED this from Debi Meissner,  but I found it originally on Pinterest.
There are a lot of details so if you want to duplicate this card here are the products that I used:
STAMPS: Bike Ride Bundle, Banners For You, B.Y.O.P. (for the Happy Birthday)
Card Stock: Delightful Dijon (R), Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Silver Foil, Marina Mist, Whisper White
Ink: Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz, Calypso Coral, Smoky Slate, Marina Mist Marker, Daffodil Ink pad and Marker
Fun Stuff: Retired Ribbon, Stitched Rectangles (By Gina Marie), Hello You Thinlits
Here is what the inside looks like:

Gift Cards for Dad and the Grad!

Monday, March 6, 2017
Need a gift card?
These quick and easy gift cards were made with the GIFT CARD HOLDER DIE (retired), but the size is easily duplicated if you didn't purchase the Gift Card Holder Die.
I used some tiny Velcro circles for the closure.
Card #1 is for Dad - I used the NAILED IT! stamp set for the Father's Day Greeting.  I stamped it with Versa Mark and embossed it with GOLD EMBOSSING POWDER. The GOLD FOIL FLAG is 3/4" wide.
Inside I used 2 stamps from past Paper Pumpkin kits.  If you are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber you will want to know that the "to the best_____ever" is from August 2014 and the "Dad" is from May 2014. I strategically inked up the first stamp avoiding the word "friend" so that I could insert "Dad".
Gift Card #2 is for the graduate...  I used B.Y.O.P. and added a graduation cap.  I kept it super simple and used the Banners from the January 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit.
The card stock, of course, is a part of my retired stash.

'Tis The Season

Wednesday, May 18, 2016
Christmas?? no!!! 'Tis the Season for Graduations.
Keeping up with the Red Hot Stamper 6x6 Challenge I made these cards and money holders (money holder inspired by Julie Brancart) I used the same color scheme as Julie because I loved it so much, using the GOING PLACES DESIGNER SERIES PAPER STACK (6x6)
I started by measuring this purchased money holder from way back when
Cut my card stock (Sahara Sand) at 8x8-3/8.  With the 8-3/8 at the top of your score plate, score 2-3/4 and 5-5/8.  turn your card stock 90ยบ and score 3/4" from each side.
I rounded the corners using my ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD, but you could also use the PROJECT LIFE CORNER ROUNDER
The measurements for your other pieces are as follows:
Basic Black 2-1/2 x 6-1/4 (you need 2 of these)
Designer Paper 2-1/4 x 6 (you need 2 of these)
The 2 designs are from 2 different sheets of 6x6 and after cutting the pieces I needed I ended up being able to make 2 Money Holders and 2 regular 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 cards using the strip that was left over.  I cut it down to 1-3/4 x 5-1/4 So all I threw away was a teeny tiny smidge of those papers.
Not only so I have my fair share of Graduation Open Houses to go to, I get requests from my sister for all the Open Houses that she will be going to.
I used the (retired) stamp set WORD PLAY and the small directional stamp is from THE OPEN SEA which you can still purchase through May 31st - but then it will be gone FOREVER.  The front of the Money Holder stamp is from BYOP (which stand for Buy Your Own Present!)
