Weekly Challenge

Our Weekly Challenge for last week was to take this challenge from our Stampin' Up! DDM, Shannon West.

Shannon attended our June meeting via ZOOM and shared this sample card and a video.
I encouraged them to make a card using her directions, but to change it up using a different stamp set, etc.
This is the card that I made and showed them to spur them on

I used the BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS Stamp Set, and the colors: Seaside Spray. Light Flirty Flamingo & Dark Petal Pink Stampin' Blends for her dress. Dark Granny Apple Green for the grasses & Seaside Spray for the flowers. Her skin is Light Petal Pink. This image reminds me of our grand daughter, Gracie so had to give her some blonde hair with the dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend.

Janell made these first 2 cards only changing up the color of the ribbon. She used TIMELESS TULIPS Stamp Set in Purple Posy and Rococo Rose.

Lynda made this gorgeous card using Tasteful Touches Stamp Set

Karen's card was made using the Daisy Lane Stamp Set. Kind of like Shannons but so much brighter in colors

This is Vickie's Card.Vickie used the Tranquil Tulips stamp set, which is  a 2-step stamping set, and was a SAB set a year or so ago.

Vickie also made a second card - this time she made a fun ocean view

Barb sent this card, which has a wonderful fall feel to it. she used the new Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper behind her sentiment from So Sentimental

Anna made this pretty birthday card using the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set

Susan made this cool masculine card using the BY THE DOCK Stamp Set

Inez made a fun one with the SO HOPPY TOGETHER Stamp Set

This last card is from Chris who used the HIGH TIDE Stamp Set

Rachel had Christmas on the brain for her challenge card. I'm realizing this technique can be made with any stamp set.

I think that all of these cards turned out great! I love to see what everyone comes up with each week.

Guest Stampers Inez & Shirley

Inez featured the TRANQUIL TULIPS Hostess exclusive stamp set at her stamping classes this month so both she and Shirley brought a sample of cards that were made.

Both cards feature the knotted ribbon instead of a bow making your card less bulky for the mail.

Then Shirley brought one for me as a thank you for the Christmas gift.

It is so hard to show up in this photo, but Shirley used her stylus to "cup" the tulips giving them a realistic look. Very stunning!

I simply love this stamp set and you can get one with a qualifying purchase. For every $150.00 purchase you become your own hostess, therefore getting Hostess Rewards.  Using those rewards you can choose from the Hostess Exclusive sets.  This one, of course, is my favorite!

If your order reaches $150.00 you will NOT use the Hostess Code and therefore getting all the hostess benefits. (10% of sales). At $150 you would also qualify for either 3 - $50 price point Sale a bration items OR 1 $100 price point AD 1 - $50 price point items from the Sale a bration brochure.
