Today's post is all about the THOUGHTFUL EXPRESSIONS stamp set

This stamp set was first introduced in the January through April 2024 Mini Catalog, and it also included a set of dies to cut out the images as well as a bunch of other dies for layering and tagging.

I did not purchase this set right away because I was hesitant in case it did not carry over to the new Annual Catalog.  WHAT A MISTAKE! I tried to purchase the bundle (stamp set and dies) as soon as the last chance list was released, but by that time the dies were no longer available, and even though Stampin' Up! tried, they were not able to get more in stock before the catalog retired.

I did, however, purchase the stamp set (and thankfully my friend and team member did get the dies that I could borrow)

I spent 2-3 days prepping a bunch of cards for my Tuesday classes.

I hope you enjoy seeing them - I will give credit where credit is due if I can

Prized Peony for Thank You & Sympathy

One week ago Dale & I celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary!

This year it include dinner out one night early,  a graduation open house on our actual anniversary date, and then the next day Dale went fishing for the weekend. No big deal - I LOVE being home, I love my alone time and the freedom to go and do whatever I want, whenever I want, but...NEXT YEAR for our 45th anniversary we are taking a one week (at least) vacation!

Our son Jeff and daughter-in-law, Jessica gave us this beautiful bouquet of peonies from their flower garden.

They smell as good as they look!! And peonies last a LOT longer than the lilacs they brought over earlier.

I wanted to make a beautiful peony card as a thank you so I made this one inspired by Jackie Bultje

What I changed up: I believe Jackie used the SQUARE LATTICE DOILY as a stencil, but I just added the doily itself. 

I changed up the sentiment and the color of the flower, but this is a pretty clean and simple layout.

Since I had the PRIZED PEONY Stamp Set out, I thought I would prep one for an upcoming Tuesday class. This one was inspired by Ann Schach.

Beauty of the Earth

Another card using the BEAUTY OF THE EARTH Designer Paper.

This time I used the print that is 5th from the left on the top row. It doesn't look like much here, 

but with a little bit of sponging with Pacific Point, Mango Medley, and Cajun Craze (top to bottom), it transforms it into this.

The tree itself was cut from Early Espresso card stock and the leaves cut from one of the prints (second from the left, bottom row) in the Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper Pack.

2 cute little birds were cut out from Just Jade card stock.

These tree dies and this gorgeous designer paper make for quick and easy cards

The sentiment comes from PRIZED PEONY Stamp Set

Prized Peony

 I love a card that is gorgeous and is adaptable for any occasion

This pretty card is PERFECT!

#1 - the Peony die is STUNNING! and super easy to assemble. (#152701)

#2 - the Peony Garden Designer Paper is soft and versatile. (#152483)

#3 - the new square vellum doilies!! such a different concept, but so very cool!! (152484)

#4 - the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder is an elegant touch (#152702)

I pulled out a variety of sentiments for the front of the card that fit my Stitched Rectangle Die (#151820). I can only imagine it will be a big seller at today's Come Stamp With Me Class.

If they feel they need to add a touch of color they can sponge on a touch of color to the edges of the peony flower.
