Before summer is totally over I thought I would make up a card featuring SO REFRESHING

How sweet (literally) is this??!!

Darling Details

Today's card features the DARLING DETAILS BUNDLE

I love the little eyelet feel to this card (also inspired by Julie Gilson)

I also love using more than one embossing folder on a card because it gives your card more dimension.

The two used here are EXPOSED BRICK and 3D BASICS

Colors: Melon Mambo, Bubble Bath and Granny Apple Green

The ladies will make this card at one of our Tuesday classes

One tip with the DARLING DETAILS DIE: The die does not cut out the small eyelet piece, it simply cuts it out from the center of your paper, but it is easy enough to trim around the stitching to get the shape you want whether you want a wide or narrow edge, then after you attach it to the back piece of card stock, your simply trim it.

What I changed up: Julie used the Iridescent Rhinestones, but I chose to use a new product called ADHESIVE BACKED GLITTERED SEQUINS. They are not quite as bulky and the glitter packs a punch of glitz to your card. You will be able to get some of these glittery sequins for yourself when the new mini catalog goes live on September 6th. Start getting your shopping list together!!

Apple Harvest

Today's card was made using the APPLE HARVEST Stamp Set

And I cased this one from my talented friend, Julie Gilson

I thought that this would be a perfect card for the ladies to make since apple picking season is coming soon. I colored in the images with a watercolor pen, classic ink and watercolor paper with Stazon Ink. However, I am giving the ladies the option to stamp in Memento Black Ink onto Vary Vanilla Card Stock, and color it in using Stampin' Blends. (most are not terribly fond of watercoloring)

The sentiment comes from GO TO GREETINGS
