Halloween Treat and Baby's First

Another Halloween card and a treat - these two were also out at the National Card Making Day

This is a treat that I have made before to sell at the local craft sales, but between Dale's soap making business and my Stampin' Up! business, we are too busy to participate in craft sales. It was always a LOT of work, and truthfully, I am pleased, but I thought for National Card Making Day it would be fun to put some treats out.

The cute little bat (way cuter than the ones in real life) is made from the Owl Punch and 1-3/8" circle punch for the wings. The branch is from the Bird Builder Punch. All the edges were sponged with some Craft White Ink and the smile was made using a chalk marker.

This was a fun card using two different stamp sets that both coordinate with the same die set. Merry Cafe' and Coffee Cafe', but I did grab the "steam" from Scentsational Season and the bat & spiderwebs from Home Sweet Home.

I saw the little 3D spiders at the local craft shop and thought they would be a great addition.

I didn't have a stripe designer paper so created my own with a chalk marker and a ruler.

I understand that I used retired products and some non Stampin' Up! products, but perhaps you have these items in your stamp collection and it is fun to pull out some old favorites.

I took this same card but changed it up to make a Halloween card for Liam. He is nearly one year old - born just after Halloween last year so this is his first Halloween and it will be fun to send it to him.

Painted Autumn Suite

Last weeks Open House was a great success - thank you to everyone who came out to check out the new Holiday Catalog, make a Make & Take and have opportunity to get their name in the door prize drawing.
This was my first Open House in our new house and I felt like it all went very well.
My team of demonstrators were so great to come for a fun work night and then a few came to help with either set-up or on the day of the event.

I must say that I am blessed to have a large area for my crafting room.

The lovely Inez was the demonstrator who helped with the Make & Takes during the morning hours.

This is the Make & Take that everyone made - which way do you like it? with a flagged end or straight?  This card was cased straight from the Holiday Catalog!

The following are samples that were out using the PAINTED AUTUMN SUITE

Some non traditional colors with the Sunflower stamp: Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant (inspired by Karen McNall on Pinterest - no blog link)

This gorgeous card shows how you can cut images out from the PAINTED AUTUMN Designer Paper to create the images on the front of the card.  Also used: MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS Designer Paper and HAPPY BIRTHDAY GORGEOUS Stamp Set, and of course, the new BLACK RHINESTONE JEWELS. Inspired by Rosanne Mulhern

This bag was cut down and made into a darling Card Organizer.

This card was inspired by Brian King and also features the PAINTED AUTUMN Designer Paper, LABELS TO LOVE Stamp Set, and the EVERY DAY LABEL Punch

Think outside the box: Isn't this little Lion head adorable!!  I cannot wait to attach him to a card!

This card also shows how to use the images from the PAINTED AUTUMN Designer Paper.  What a simple yet elegant card Inspired by Lisa Pretto. Also used: MERRY CAFE Stamp Set, LAYERED LEAVES DYNAMIC TEXTURED IMPRESSIONS EMBOSSING FOLDER, STITCHED SHAPES FRAMELITS DIES, LINEN THREAD
