Now that the Last Chance List is out, I want to start featuring products that are on the Last Chance List so that you can get a taste of what you might want to grab before it's too late.

This sweet card is a different size at 3" x 6". Yes, this is a mailable size, and I also made envelopes for them to use since this is slightly longer than our standard A2 size.

So what is retiring? COLOR & CONTOUR Stamp Set, SCALLOPED CONTOUR DIES & (sadly) the BASIC BORDERS DIES. Also... the "happy birthday" comes from DAYS TO REMEMBER, and that is on the LAST CHANCE LIST too.

The designer paper is a retired print I pulled from my stash because I wanted a petal pink stripe design.

2, 4, 6, 8!

At our May team meeting we made this 2,4,6,8 card for our Make & Take project

The purpose: to show how you can use designer paper for your multi-fold card

There are some folds that also use designer paper, but you need to like both sides (they need to coordinate), but this card only shows the one side

Start with a piece of designer paper 5-1/4" x 12" score at 2", 4", 6", 8"

the base is a standard 1/4 sheet of card stock 4-1/4" x 5-1/2

I saw it on Patty Bennetts blog

Remember all of the designer paper that we hang on to? This is a great time to use it on fun-fold cards like this.

Of course this was the designer paper that I used for the sample but I had a variety of papers cut from retired DSP so everyone got to choose.

We then used a variety of sizes of circle punches 2-1/4", 2-3/8" and 2-1/2"

They could decorate it as they liked or take it home to finish

I decided to take one of the pieces of DSP that I had already scored and create something totally different - BECAUSE I WANT YOU ALL TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX AND NOT JUST COPY ME

For this card I used the Two Tone Flora stamp set and dies & Calypso Coral Ink

My circles are 2" white, 2-1/8" starburst in Calypso Coral, 2-3/8" mint macron,

Inside I punched another 2-3/8" mint macron to hide the unfinished look, then added a 2-1/4" circle in white to add my words (from Color & Contour stamp set)

The scalloped rectangle is from the Scalloped Contour Dies

I added a few brass butterflies - I love these because they are flat and don't add bulk

One of the gals completed her 2, 4, 6, 8 Challenge

Today's guest stamper is Anna

Anna was thrilled to have two weeks off over the Christmas holiday so that she could spend more time in her craft room. Her first card is from the COLOR & CONTOUR Stamp Set, and you can see that she made good use of the SCALLOPED CONTOUR DIES

Card #2 was a challenge that I gave to the gals who went to the Stampin' Up! event in November when we were gifted this stamp set called DECORATIVE BORDERS. It's beautiful!!

Card #3 - Anna accessed the FREE Sale a bration designer paper called FAVORED FLOWERS. Even the flowers were fussy cut out from one of the sheets of paper. Anna mentioned that she used a retired stamp set for her sympathy greeting.

Yeah! more owls!! Card #4, Anna made a cute birthday card with the ADORABLE OWLS. The little birthday cake comes from the PUFFIN stamp set.

Card #5 Anna used the FAVORED FLOWERS free SAB designer paper and made a Z-FOLD card.

Thank goodness for Sale a bration! Card #6 uses the BEAUTIFULLY HAPPY free stamp set. Love the purple and green color combo.
