Happy Halloween!!
I am not a huge fan of Halloween, but I am a big fan of Snoopy!!
Growing up we had some plastic masks and were allowed to trick or treat. Mom always handed out a nickel instead of candy. And then we had to go door to door to collect for UNICEF.
When our kids were little, I enjoyed making fun costumes and taking them out to trick or treat.
When I ran my day care I had a halloween party for the families and it was so much fun.
As I get older I just don't get too excited anymore. I love to see the neighbor kids come around, but now with the "invention" of trunk-or-treat at churches, etc. the number of kids coming to our door has dramatically dropped. Also with the threat of danger in the candy - it sure has changed things A LOT!
Of all our grandkids, we only have one that goes trick-or-treating. (2 have aged out) (4 just don't go)
Liam (age 2 on Nov 2) is our little man in brown this year!!
Everyone loves their "man in brown" when he brings all those amazing packages to our door, but non is cuter than our Liam.
He doesn't know what candy is yet, so he really liked getting the bag of chips.
At our calendar class this is the October month. this is the closest I came to making a Halloween card this year
