Guest Stampers Jeanne & Debbie

Wednesday, February 19, 2025

Today's guest stamper #1 is Jeanne

Jeane and I both met when we were under a different Stampin' Up! demonstrator, but she came over with me when that demo quit with Stampin' Up!

No worries, she is back on in Stampin' Up! realizing this is the best company to work with.

Jeanne made this adorable Valentine Card from one of her retired stamp sets. I just love that heart border, and the colors are perfect.

She also made this cool masculine card using IN THE GROVE. Her card is over-sized and she did watercoloring! I'm so impressed!! If you don't have the FLUID 100 WATERCOLOR PAPER, you really should give it a try. You can use ink and a water pen or watercolor pencils and a water pen or simply use a blending pen with the watercolor pencils - there is so much you can do.

My next guest stamper is Debbie, who has already agreed to take charge of our Make & Take project at our next meeting in APRIL Debbie & Jeanne are both in my Card club where we meet once a month. We have forged such wonderful friendships through these classes and on our team.

April? I thought you held team meetings every month? Well, normally we do, but I, along with 3 of my team mates, will be going to North Carolina at the same date that I would normally hold my team meeting.

This technique is called a FLOATING VERTICAL BANDSTAND POP UP CARD. She got the measurements from Sue Campfield, but she changed it up to be horizontal.

She plans to do the birthday version using the WILDFLOWER BIRTHDAY DSP for our Make & Take.

Everyone got a sneak peek at the team meeting which will make them all want to come for sure!

I particularly like this one with the tools! Debbie just acquired the tool dies because they are FREE during SAB!! Win-win!

Oh, this masculine card with the deer is also a favorite!! I love how she heat embossed the grasses with gold.

This one is elegant and it is like the one she made for Inez for her February birthday.

This one you need to decide if you like the card on the left with "more" or the card on the right with "less"

I love the fences, but I also love the simplicity of card on the right - the decision is made - I love them both!

I love the yellow colors used with the Floral Delight DSP and the Delightful Wishes bundle

Debbie also sent me this darling Valentine card. Gotta love that little hamster!

Hearts & Hugs Meet Heart Shaped,

Sunday, February 9, 2025

Such a darling little card combining the HEARTS & HUGS stamp set with the FREE Sale a bration bundle called HEART SHAPED.

The HEART SHAPED bundle is a level 2 free product which means it is free with a $120.00 purchase.

I only had a photo to CASE, so it only took me a bit to figure out my measurements.

I used the In-Color Pretty in Pink Designer Paper. Some of my stampers will get this striped design while others will get the alternate design with the little bubble dots.

To make the little heart die a bit softer, I cut it out of Basic White, then sponged some Pretty In Pink Ink on it with a Stampin' Blending Brush. The flowers and hearts are cut from Pretty in Pink card stock using the Hearts & Hugs dies, while the Mossy Meadow sprig is from the HEART SHAPED dies.

A medium sized ANTIQUE PEARL sits in the center of the flower.

Stylish Shapes dies are perfect for making the center circle, which I used the largest size and I cut the Designer Paper and the Pretty in Pink layer cut at the same time to keep them lined up.

There are two new kits available for purchase - kits are an amazing way to craft with friends or craft on the go.

Team Make & Take Project

Wednesday, September 18, 2024

Our guest stamper for today is Debbie O (again)

I just love it when my team offers to pitch in with the Make & Take projects for our team meeting.

#1. It gives variety instead of just using my ideas

#2. It frees me up to do other things for my team

#3. I gift each one when they chip in and help

It's a WIN-WIN situation!!

Debbie prepared these kits so that everyone could make these adorable treats.

One month ago I made some of these using some of the new In Color 6x6 Designer Paper for some of my top sellers.

Debbie asked if we could make these at our next card club, so we made some using the HEARTS & HUGS stamp set.

THEN... she offered to make up the kits for our team Make & Take!! What a blessing.

She used the HUMBLE HOME bundle which comes with a Home Builder Punch (instead of a die)

I absolutely love how they turned out.

She had a variety of colors available so I chose the pretty blue one.

The "pinwheel" is made with the ROUND WE GO Dies.

Each treat has a full size Kit Kat candy bar in them - Debbie is very generous!!

Don't miss out on these great new kits

Shop the Kits Collection HERE

But WAIT! There's MORE!!

The newest trend seems to be shopping online - I know that I do not frequent a store nearly as much as I used to and find shopping online is the easiest way to go. Stampin' Up! is no different - there is a whole offering of online exclusive items from stamp sets, designer paper, embellishments and so much more in the Stampin' Up! Online Exclusive Store. You can access that HERE

And last, but not least ... Stampin' Up! is now starting to carry a whole new line of scrapbooking supplies and kits! WOO HOO!! That makes this girl VERY HAPPY!!

Not a scrapbooker? The papers offered can also be used in your card making!!

You can see the online brochure HERE

I cannot wait for my order to arrive!!
