Today our oldest grandchild turns 21 years old.

We are so proud of Tyler. This past year he decided to get his own apartment and not rely on his parents, and he is a youth leader for teen boys at his church. Our prayers always have been that our grandchildren would follow hard after God.

This is the card that I made for him for his birthday.

Last year for his birthday he and his mom (our daughter) went hiking in Washington State. It was inspired by Melissa and featured on a previous post along with other cards using the Greatest Journey products. HERE

Two more ZOO CREW cards

I think that this little singing turtle is my favorite of all the critters included with the Zoo Crew Designer Paper and there is also a stamp so you can stamp as many turtles as you like - you can even make a full worship team or choir!!

I should've made this card for our son, Jeff, who is celebrating his 42nd birthday today. He has a fantastic voice and I can't wait to have him join our worship team at church. The gals will be making this card at a future Tuesday class.

Since I haven't purchased the Zany Zoo Stamp Set (yet) I made do with notes from the retired MUSIC FROM THE HEART. The color scheme is Berry Burst - a returning favorite in color, and I used the BIGGEST WISH Stamp Set for the "Happy Birthday". The vellum circle is punched from the 2" circle punch. This card was inspired by Brian King. The size of the card is a smaller thin card that measures 5-1/2" x 3-1/2"

This is a new fun fold card that I haven't made before. It's super fun and surprisingly easy. It is called an accordion card and I followed the instructions from Tami White

I really liked how she cut out the little koala who is juggling some cupcakes. I changed up the little balloons (using a balloon die that I had on hand), the "happy birthday" sentiment is from DAYS TO REMEMBER and the greeting on the Basic White is from SWEET SONGBIRDS

This card will also be featured at a future Tuesday class.

Yesterday I had an MRI on my back - sure hoping they can find what is still continuing to cause me pain ever since our card accident in 2021. Now it's a waiting game until the Dr. can read it and let me know.

In the meantime I want to share some cards that I have been making with the ZOO CREW Designer Paper. The cool part of this paper is that it is printed with darling little animals on one side and then Black & White on the opposite side with a variety of designs.

This designer paper coordinates with the Zany Zoo Stamp Set and Dies

The dies will also fit perfectly to cut out some of the animals from the designer paper, and there are some great "bonus" dies in there too.

Here are two of the cards that I made using just the designer paper as my focus...

This is a perfect card to send to your camping buddies, and I just love that little skunk! This card was inspired by Amy Koenders. I changed up the sentiment using DAYS TO REMEMBER, and I used STYLISH SHAPES dies and Layering Circles in Lemon Lime Twist (a retiring favorite color) and Basic Black.

Each piece is cut 1" wide and layered onto a piece of Basic Black. to stretch my Designer Paper I made my card 4" x 5-1/2"

This fun card with the sloth doing yoga is super simple and the gals will be making this card at tomorrow's class. It was inspired by Ronda Griffin. I changed it up by embossing the Petal Pink front, adding layers of circles behind the sloth and I added some Pool Party highlights.
