I'm not sure why I have been struggling with making Christmas cards this year because Stampn' Up! has some amazing designer papers and stamp sets.
My first purchase was a pre-pre-order called PEACE ON EARTH. I love, love, love the stamp set because it has such a wide variety of sentiments that are not just for Christmas, and the paper is gorgeous!
This first card was Inspired by Kate It uses the super fun EVERYDAY ARCHES Dies, and what is great is that you can save on your designer paper by cutting the smaller arch from the piece that measures 4" x 5-1/4" because no one will see that voided spot and it's covered up by the larger arch. What I changed up: I used a 1/2" strip of Basic White card stock and flagged both ends but Kate used a retired die that I do not own.
The Peace on Earth suite includes some glimmer paper for the circle cut using the STYLISH SHAPES Dies. I cut the dove out of the White Velvet Paper
This second card was also inspired by Kate
What I changed up: Kate used the Gold Foiled Frames, but I chose to cut the larger die from the center from the 4" x 5-1/4" Gold Foil (just like I did in card #1) and I used the FRIGHT NIGHTS Dies for that. Then I cut the smaller die from Basic White.I fussy cut the flower bouquets from the TRADITIONS OF CHRISTMAS Designer Paper. I understand that there is a die in the CHRISTMAS GREENERY Bundle that will cut these out, but I did not purchase this bundle, so fussy cutting it is. In fact, fussy cutting is my super power!!
The embossed front is called PEACEFUL GREENERY and pulled out some of my Paper Pumpkin stamps for both the "tis the season" and the sentiment on the inside.
I have no idea what Kate did for the inside of her card, but this is what I chose to do
I added a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock 4" x 5-1/4" and a piece of Basic White Card Stock 3-3/4" x 5" then I added two strips of Designer Paper from Traditions of Christmas which are actually from the same pattern, just opposite sides. It really seemed to set it off because it was just way too plain if I simply stamped the sentiment on the inside without the added color in there.- FOR EVERY ORDER PLACED IN SEPTEMBER, I WILL PUT YOUR NAME INTO A DRAWING AND THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE THE PINE TREE TRIMMINGS BUNDLE

This is a perfect masculine card, and so simple. You just cut your DSP to 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" and cut out the printed side using the PERENNIAL POSTAGE Dies, then flip it over for the wood grain side. Other colors are Cloud Cover and Secret Sea (my two favorite combo colors)
