My featured card for today...not sure if this technique has a name - it's almost like a spotlight card

One of my Tuesday stampers asked if we could make this card that she saw by Terri Gaines

I changed up the sentiment and chose to make it a birthday card, but my Tuesday stampers have the freedom to switch it up to whatever they need.

The birthday wishes comes from SIMPLY SAID, and cut out with the largest banner from STYLISH SHAPES DIES

The designer paper is THOUGHTFUL JOURNEY.

I did not have the measurement instructions, so this is what I decided to do...

BASE: Basic Black 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4

Layers: Basic White 5-1/8 x 3-7/8

Basic Black 5 x 3-3/4

Designer Paper 4-7/8 x 3-5/8

2-3/8" Circle Punch

Using the Autumn Toile Designer Paper for a card makes a great masculine card for any occasion. This designer paper is not just for Thanksgiving cards.

This card, inspire by Ann on Pinterest. 

Ann didn't share the measurements so I had to figure that out on my own. This is what I came up with 

Base: Pecan Pie 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4

          Pecan Pie 5-1/4 x 4 embossed with the Gathering Leaves 

          Embossing Folder

Early Espresso: 5 x 2-7/8

Designer Paper: 4-78 x 2-5/8 cut on the diagonal

I cut two leaves using the die from Amber Autumn and the Triple Banner Punch

Stamp Set: Friendly Foliage. Hint Hint: this is the set that is our door prize drawing for November. This set has a great "Thinking of You" as well.

Splendid Autumn

The SPLENDID AUTUMN 6x6 DSP makes making cards super easy.

I'm so glad that they carried this paper over to the new annual catalog. However, the coordinating color of Wild Wheat is retired from the In Color line up.

This card was inspired by Mena Green

My Tuesday Stampers are going to love this card - quick and easy!!
 Card Details:

• Wild Wheat Cardstock card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", folded in half, cut off 1"
• Splendid Autumn DSP: 5 1/4" x 3"
• What I changed up is the "Happy Birthday" sentiment. I used CHARMING DAY Stamp Set and was  stamped in Early Espresso Ink on White Cardstock.  Trimmed and layered with Wild Wheat Card stock
• I dug through my retired embellishments to find some Wild Wheat gems or dots, so my stampers will have a variety to choose from.

Another Homemade Treat

One more HOMEMADE TREATS card to share with you 

This card features the NEED FOR TWEED Designer Paper, and all the fun elements of the Homemade Treats Bundle.

Inspired by Kimberly

1. White- 8-1/2" x 5-1/2". Score at 4-1/4

2. Cut DSP 5-1/2" x 1-1/2". Cut a strip of Real Red 3/4" x 5-1/2" and glue to card front.

3. Stamp sentiment in Old Olive.

4. Die cut pan in Silver Foil

5. Stamp baking items, and Die-cut

6. Add adhesive candy dots.
