Gracie thought that the foam circle from the LOVELY LITTLE WREATH Paper Pumpkin Kit looked like a halo!
I love this little "angel" and love the mornings I get to spend with her before school. I will miss seeing her for a few days because I am off to spend a couple days with my sisters!! WOOT!! WOOT!! What a blessing!!

3x3 Paper Pumpkin - Put a Smile on it!!
Wednesday, April 27, 2016
Remember the 6x6 challenge that Glenda gave us? Well I decided to take one of our 6x6 pieces of Designer Paper and make an envelope for Gracie's card that I showed you earlier.
When making an envelope with the Envelope Punch Board you need a piece that measures 5 1/4 x 5 1/4. I was left with the 3/4" strip so decided to make more 3x3 cards placing the Designer piece along the left side and stamping a fun flower using the stamps from the April Paper Pumpkin Kit.
Inside: Yup - this card will end up in Gracie's lunch box today.
Oh, and after I took the picture I decided the cute flower would be even cuter with a little face on it. I used the (retired) stamp set Think Happy, and a couple itty bitty google eyes from the dollar store.
I was feeling on a roll with these pretty flowers and I had some scrap pieces of designer paper from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper pack. The colors on this one are Blushing Bride (stamped off and then full strength for the inside.) Daffodil Delight for the center of the flower.

Just a Little Snag

The Condo Association where we live are telling us that we cannot run a business in our home, so the COME STAMP WITH ME TUESDAY classes are canceled for now. I sure have enjoyed getting to spend time with you during this time. I laughed with some of you, cried with some of you and even prayed with some of you and I must say that this time has been precious.
So now what will I do? Well, I still love to stamp so I will still do my best to inspire you by sharing cards that I am making for my own personal use.
Yesterday I decided to use the designer card stock that came with TIN OF CARDS that was intended to cover the index cards for the tin. (You can kind of seeing this on the photo below in the tin that comes with the kit) Which, of course, I did not use for it's intended purpose!! LOL!! This paper has been sitting here for a VERY LONG TIME and so I thought now would be the perfect time to just play!
Here is what the TIN OF CARDS KIT looks like
The strip of rhinestones was purchased at a local craft store in one of my weak moments (lol)
I only know one person who is not a fan of butterflies, but I think adding a butterfly to most anything makes it special. The colors on the stamped butterflies are Calypso Coral (stamped off) and Watermelon Wonder (full strength) and I used all 3 steps in the stamping. The vellum butterfly was cut from the FREE vellum paper stack we could get during Sale a bration.
This next one is a 3x3 of which I made 2.
The raindrop pattern of this paper made me think of Sympathy, Get Well or Thinking of You so I used the sentiment from Blessings From Heaven stamp set. (this card was inspired by Jessica Taylor. I changed it up by adding the embossing on the card base.) I also made 2 of these (I had previously used one sheet of this paper on another project.)
This last card was inspired by Sandy Hancock

You can get this coordinating stamp set to go with it
These are all of the cards that I was able to make with the Designer Paper that is included in the kit.
These first 4 cards I also used the extra stamp set from the April Paper Pumpkin Kit for the flowers and I used the French words that came in a previous Paper Pumpkin Kit that included 3 different languages because of the diverse countries that Stampin' Up! is in. These cards will be shipped up to Canada to my niece where I am sure she can make good use of them. The strip of rhinestones was purchased at a local craft store in one of my weak moments (lol)

6x6 Gift Purse
Monday, April 25, 2016
Look at these cute little purse bags! Glenda shared the how-to on a Youtube Video and I had to give them a try. I think these would be perfect for giving as a graduation gift as it is only 1/2" deep. Perfect to hold a gift card and maybe a Ghiradelli Chocolate.
Here are the supplies that I used to make the cute purses

If you want to watch Glenda's Youtube version she will also show you how to make a couple of other projects as well and some beautiful pansies. I decided to use up some of my retired product to embellish them with. I forgot to mention in the supply list below that I used the stitched 5/8" ribbon in Basic Black for the handle. This item, too, is on the retired list.

Get Your Rudolph On!
Friday, April 22, 2016
Do you remember my post earlier this week about the April Paper Pumpkin Kit? This branch punch- out piece reminded me of reindeer antlers
I had to make a second page for a full spread because I had too many pictures for only one page, especially when the reindeer takes up quite a large space.
Here they are together...

So I went to work ASAP on a 12x12 scrapbook page. Isn't this reindeer too cute!! I used the silver cording from the Holiday Catalog to string up his lights. The Itty Bitty lights are from the Merry Minis Punch Pack that has retired. I sponged the edges of each Christmas bulb with the coordinating color and then to make them look authentic I punched the tip of the bulb from Silver Foil Card Stock and adhered it with a dab of glue. Check out the Products List at the end of this blog post for everything that I used. Of course, the large google eyes are NOT a Stampin' Up! product, but every good craft room has some google eyes in it - right??!!
Here is how it looked when I added pictures from Christmas 2014. I'm just a bit behind, don't you think??!!I had to make a second page for a full spread because I had too many pictures for only one page, especially when the reindeer takes up quite a large space.

And here are the extra products that I used to create my 12x12 scrapbook page

A Red Hot Challenge
Thursday, April 21, 2016
This giant bag of goodies is what I earned from Glenda as a reward for my quarterly sales.
Pin It Now!
Check out the cute tag she made for each of us.
Glenda, of course, had to issue us a challenge surrounding the cute tag she made.
She challenged us to use the tag on a card.
I'm not one to shirk away from a challenge so this is my take on it:
She also issued a second challenge. She challenged us to a 6x6 challenge using one of the 6x6 paper stacks. I decided to combine both challenges together. This Paper is from the Pretty Petals 6x6 paper stack, and this card took a piece that measures 5 1/8x 3 7/8. With the leftover pieces I made this Mother's Day card using the stamp set from the April Paper Pumpkin Kit.
A small piece was left after I made the banner so I used it to make a 3x3 note card for Gracie's lunch box. The flip side of the Calypso Coral pattern is the multi colored butterfly pattern which worked perfectly for the owls vest.
What do you think? I got 3 projects with only one 6x6 sheet of designer paper!!

The Retired List is OUT!
Monday, April 18, 2016
Every demonstrator was probably waiting just like me to log in at 4:00 pm to check out the Retiring List. It was so congested that Stampin' Up! was having technical issues.
I am sad to see some of these STAMPS and ACCESSORIES leaving and yet it never totally surprises me because it is no different than when you go shopping for clothing. The styles change, the color schemes change and so forth. I'm excited to dig into the new catalog for all the great new products coming out, but I wanted to get these out to you first! You are my first priority!
Don't wait too long to get your order in for the items you want from the retiring list because it is all
WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. You don't want to be like this lady...

Gift Tags
Today is the LAST DAY to get in on the WEEKLY DEALS. There will no longer be Weekly Deals BUT...we are told that there will be occasional sales with greater discounts. Keep checking back to my blog posts for when those will happen. I would love to be your regular Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

RIGHT NOW is always the BEST time to purchase the Starter Kit. When you are a part of my team (Christi's Creative Crew) I like to treat my team well. At the end of each quarter I gift my girls with 1% of their sales. I also made these cute tags to put on their gifts. This is just one of the many gifts that I was able to gift my team members with.
Here is a closer look. They were inspired by Dawn Griffiths. I used the Designer Paper that we were able to get for FREE during Sale a bration. Notice that I used the STAR FRAMELITS that you see on the WEEKLY DEALS LIST.
Want to know more about being a part of Christi's Creative Crew?
COST: Cost of the kit is $99.00 plus tax. Shipping is FREE for the Starter Kit!
WHAT DO I GET?: You actually get $125.00 worth of product for only the low cost of $99.00. Plus for anyone who signs up between May 3-31 you will get 8 NEW CATALOGS plus 4 of the current CATALOGS. Several other business related products as well, including order forms, post card invitations, etc.
DO I NEED TO HOLD CLASSES LIKE YOU DO?: Absolutely NOT! The majority of my gals are "hobbyist" and just enjoy the discount for themselves. And for every order (minimum $150) you submit you can be your own hostess and reap the Stampin' Rewards. (10% of sales)
WHAT IS THE DISCOUNT THAT I WILL RECEIVE?: When you start out, your discount will be 20%. It is like getting your tax and your Shipping FREE plus a little bit more. Once you submit $900 in sales/purchases your discount will increase to 25%! - This is a new feature for Stampin' Up! and I am pretty excited about it.
WILL I BE PENALIZED IF I NEVER PLACE AN ORDER AFTER I RECEIVE MY STARTER KIT?: Absolutely NOT! This is no different than you taking your percentage off coupon to your local craft store.
WHAT OTHER BENEFITS WILL I GET?:
- You will be able to see any of the new catalogs prior to the scheduled start date. You will also get a chance to PRE-ORDER from the new catalogs and have the products in hand before anyone else.
- As a part of my team you can attend the monthly team meetings where we go over the current business as well as share projects and ideas and maybe a challenge or two, plus a make and take project that evening.
- There are On Stage events twice a year that you are welcome to attend. The new format is April and November. the locations vary each time so I will keep you informed about that.
WHAT IF I DECIDE TO CONTINUE BEING A DEMONSTRATOR? HOW MUCH DO I NEED TO SUBMIT IN ORDER TO STAY CURRENT? You will need to submit $300.00 in sales per quarter (January-March, April-June, July-September, October-December). For every dollar you spend you earn FLEX POINTS which will translate into Stampin' Up! dollars for you to redeem for free product.

April Paper Pumpkin
Sunday, April 17, 2016
Yeah! my Paper Pumpkin arrived on Friday and I couldn't wait to check it out. It's always so exciting to get this box of creativity in my mailbox. Sure beats bills, right?!
Chalk board tags
This is a branch for the wreath but the first thing I saw with this is Reindeer antlers so stay tuned - I plan to make a 12x12 scrapbook page using this.
I ton a these greenery strips for wrapping your wreath. They already a full strips of sticky tape on the back of each one.
This is the cute hanging frame that you will hang from your wreath using the Very Vanilla Ink on the Chalkboard tags. Along with glue dots and a package of natural ribbon.
These are cotton paper flowers (refer back to the photo of the instruction sheet). I don't dare throw out the negative images after I punched them out because I think I can use them for sponging flowers onto a card or project.
This fun 12x12 scrapbook page was timely because of my recent surgery. I'm doing pretty good. I figure I am right on schedule for healing. The down side is that walking with the shoe and not able to put full pressure on my foot yet and the difference in the height of my shoes has thrown my back out terribly. I am not used to so much down time. The bandages are made from the small gift card holders and the OUCH is made from the sticky tags and my circle punches.
This cute monster card was also made using the small gift card holder, just the opposite side of what you see on the bandages. Isn't he just the cutest!! Pin It Now!
Everything I need to make a cute Springtime Wreath.
This is the stamp set that goes along with the kit
And this is the EXTRA - FREE stamp set that they promised us as a celebration of Paper Pumpkins third birthday and 1,000,000 kits sold.
Look at this great Happy Birthday stamp! I love it!!Chalk board tags

Here is the video of how to assemble the Lovely Little Wreath
Now, I am going to admit that I am not a wreath kinda girl, but I have learned to not be discouraged when I get a project based kit instead of a card based kit because there are so many other ideas that will come out that I will find to be fabulous! Most times I make up one kit as per the instructions and then use my second kit for alternate projects, but this time I will probably not make up the wreath, and I will look forward to seeing what everyone will do with their kits.
The best part is the variety of stamps that we get and can use for our card making.
Want to get in on the paper pumpkin fun??!!
When you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin through me you will get a PDF of exclusive alternate ideas to use with your kit that is put together by myself and members of the Red Hot Stampers.
While we are talking Paper Pumpkin, let me share with you a few alternate ideas that I made that were inspired by other talented demonstrators: JanB, and Rachel Tessman (who has a FB group dedicated to Paper Pumpkin where we share ideas using our Paper Pumpkin Kits.)
I love this first one which was made using the Pool Party card base and then I stamped images from TIMELESS TEXTURES in Smoky Slate to create the background. The flowers are from FLOWER SHOP and PETITE PETALS.This fun 12x12 scrapbook page was timely because of my recent surgery. I'm doing pretty good. I figure I am right on schedule for healing.
