Meet Miss Lucy + Farmers Market Fare

Friday, July 14, 2017
I have been so busy preparing for Saturday's Artisan & Farmers Market that my blog posting has really suffered.
Not only have I been busy with last minute creativity with a Farmers Market theme, we also brought home this sweet bundle of joy this week.
We chose the name Lucy and she is only 3.4 pounds of joy!!
Lucy is half Shih Tzu and half Bichon. Super cuddly and amazing.
When I sit she just lays at my feet.  If I'm doing the dishes she sits at my feet and just waits for me to finish.
My sweet friend, Marla, came over the very next day and showered Lucy with all kinds of toys, and she loves them all!!
Gracie is in love with her and was so happy to be able to have a sleep over at Gramma's & Grampa's and another full day to play with her.
Sawyer and Lily walked over to meet Miss Lucy and now that Lily is crawling she couldn't wait to check out this little pup.
She loves to walk out to the back yard with Dale to check out the garden. So cute to watch her run after him!!
Okay, time to share some cards and crafts that prepared for the Artisan/Farmers Market on Saturday.
Inspired by Pat Tezca on Pinterest, I loved this card that combines the stamp sets DAISY DELIGHT and WOOD WORDS.
I fell in love with this note card with the carrots.  Gracie chose the words that were used on the front from BEAUTIFUL BOUQUET.  This one was inspired by the creativity that we find in the Stampin'
Up! Catalog!!  So you can see, the Catalogs are your best source of ideas, from card layouts to 3D items and ideas, and even decorating ideas
The WOOD CRATE THINLIT is so much fun to make, and super, super easy! On these 2 ideas (inspired by Pat Tezca) you can fill your WOOD CRATE with treats or 3x3 cards
The colors I used are Night of Navy and Cherry Cobbler.  The stars were stamped on Crumb Cake Card Stock.  The crate was stamped with Crumb Cake ink onto Whisper White Paper.
How much fun is this 3x3 set of note cards?  Inspired by Yvonne on Pinterest.  The circle stamp makes a yummy orange using Peekaboo Peach Ink, and the strawberry looks delicious stamped in Real Red onto Whisper White Card Stock.  The stems were made using the Tree Builder Punch and Old Olive Card Stock.
This last treat (inspired by Stamping Jo) is something I made up (with Gracie's help) at the last minute because I know that there are a lot of families that come to the Farmers Market and this would be an fun treat to pick up for the kids as they shop.
OK one last picture of our sweetheart.  This is how Lucy looks after she has been walking in the wet grass in the morning.  We are training her to "go" only by one tree (area) so now only after we have her only these few days she will not even walk on to the cement driveway.  Too funny!
So come join us at the Terra Square Farmer's Market in Hudsonville on Saturday, July 15th from 8am to 1pm.  There will be the traditional Farmers Market fare but tomorrow there will be so much more! You can shop with me on line 24/7 - just click HERE
