Happy New Year!!
What did you do to ring in the New Year??
Dale and I decided to go back to a tradition we started YEARS ago.
We thought it would be fun to go to a movie on New Year's Eve night.
Years ago when we started this with our boys, neither one was married yet and they went along with us. Dale and the boys wanted to see the new James Bond Movie, and I wanted to see Night at the Museum (yup - this shows you how many years ago this was). Jeff decided that Mom should not have to go to her movie alone so he went with me while Dale and Joey went to the "guy" movie. Jeff just stated that he could always go another time to see the James Bond movie (and he did). That is just how Jeff is, very thoughtful and giving, and I love that about him.
The year after this, our New Year's Eve movie night was sidelined because several local quartets (groups) rented our church to ring in the New Year, and because Dale is the Facility Manager at our church we were required to be there. We ran sound and lights and screens for them and usually crawled into bed at 2:00 the following morning after cleaning up the church and waiting for people to leave.
The quartets have not used our church for several years now so I asked if we could start up our New Year's Eve movie night again!
Yeah! Dinner out and a movie - I LOVE it!! We saw THE GREATEST SHOWMAN!

A new year is a fresh start.  Looking forward to seeing what God has in store for our family. One thing we are looking forward to is another sweet grand baby due in April. Jeff and Jessica choose not to have know the baby's gender until it is born so we are looking forward to this surprise!!
This card, I thought, would be a gender neutral baby card using the MOON BABY stamp set.
I used some already made up bows that I had on my crafting table so therefore some needed silver stars and some needed gold stars. The little stars were cut using the die from the MINI TREAT BAG DIES. I love the ease of cutting several at one time.
Inside the card:
