Christi's Creative Crew: Weekly Challenge

Each week I have been issuing a WEEKLY CHALLENGE to my team.

This past week I made this card with a super fun fold that was inspired by Debbie Mageed
I followed Debbies instructions, only changing up the Designer Paper, and the sentiment, and making it a sympathy card instead.

It folds flat to fit in an envelope to send, but it is a bit larger than our standard A2 cards (Finished size: 4 1/2″ x 6 1/4″).

You sign the card on the back side of the card. I used a retired stamp set called Better Together.

THE CHALLENGE for my team:

I did a little video for them to show how the card went together and challenged them to take this same fold style but to make it a masculine card.

Prior to issuing the challenge I made this masculine version using the SAILING HOME stamp set and dies

and the COME SAIL AWAY Designer Paper

It's been a long time since I pulled these products out and it just reminded me of what amazing designer papers Stampin' Up! has.

Here's my masculine card: Because of the striped paper I opted to go horizontal with the base and vertical with the front piece to break things up.
