Today, Lucy's first litter of puppies turn one year old!

Such sweet little pups!
We named them Pumpkin, Licorice, Tootsie Roll & Spice (L to R)
I just couldn't resist making them birthday cards for their first birthday

Using Bella & Friends Stamp Set I colored in the pups according to their colors

Tootsie Roll was the brown pup and the new owners named her Tess

Licorice was all black and her new owner named her Addie Mae

Pumpkin & Spice were almost identical and were the first 2 to be born.

Spice was more white and her new owners named her Hattie

Pumpkin had a little more brown in her spots and her new owners named her Belle

We hear great reports that they are just the BEST pups!

In fact, they are passing out our name for the next time Lucy has pups - which, by the way, is in less than 2 weeks. So plan to see a LOT of new puppy pictures!!

We are hoping for more than 5 pups this time because the sire's owner would like one of the pups as payment for service (which is pretty normal)

Yes, we are using a different sire this time because our grand dog, Leo, the daddy to the first litter, was fixed right after they allowed us to use his "services."

I have a current picture of Hattie and then they sent me a picture of her reading her birthday card

Such a precious pup! She loves to come to "grandma's" house every once in a while.
